this special pokeball used in sun and moon is used to capture ultra beasts somehow... even though ultrabeasts aren't pokemon....eh oh well, gotta take what we got. plus the animation for the ball looks awesome, and what's even more awesome it seems that this pokeball is not only for ultrabeasts, it was shown that a pikipek was sent into battle with the ultra beast ball.
what's odd is that the ultra beast may not be a pokemon but can still be capturable they have shiny forms for some reason....
