Description
A humpback whale showing how it's done.My "shot of a lifetime". Maybe I'll get better shots then this later in life but for now I'm very, very happy to have seen this.

Nice image indeed, I am definitely impressed by how you got the whale in an action shot. Although the overcast sky takes a bit of enthusiasm out of me, I am in awe of the great timing of the image. Well done.

Wow, you're so lucky to have got a shot like that! I'm the kind of photographer who will look to see what it is, and then watch it, and then kick themself for not getting an awesome photo. It happened the other day to me, when two canada geese came in to land on the river in a light snow storm and I missed it!
Sorry for rambling. Lovely shot, I envy you for having this opportunity.

thank you! I was lucky in both ways. It breached 4-5 times so I had the opportunity to look and photograph.

Better than just good timing. Great crispness and exposure and I love the composition as well. I'm sure it wont be long till you create your second and third shots of a lifetime. Well done.

over at Seward? i think i've only been there once, but the trip sucked, my dad brought me and my brothers there as a little road trip, but it was boring D: maybe someday, i'll see that some time (:
