There is something incredibly textile here.

seduction of texture
and I think of pencil and charcoal
all turned to silk
molten metal, captured grayscale.
losing by way of absence
yet there is much gained.

what will the lifting of the petals reveal?
therein lies seduction
an alluring of possibilities

great fractal, the grayscale works really well though i would try it with other color degrade just to check the different feeling the fractal gets...

Great job. I especially like the texturing, which looks like fingerprints. It looks like someone has been handling your fractal.
