As far as photoshopping goes, it was basically just upping the contrast and darkening the lighting of the picture. I'm not too skilled in the skin smoothing department yet haha. =]

YES! I agree. I wish I knew how to do it better, especially with some of my portraits, but alas, the lighting will do. XD haha. =]
