Another idea I came up with later on. Are there any situations in which Ura-Moka’s immense leg strength works against her? Here, losing track of her surroundings in the heat of the battle, Moka discovers one answer to my question in the form of a vast tar pit. When a mired person tries to pull one limb free, the force of the action shifts her center of gravity towards the other limbs and pushes them deeper in. In Moka’s case, as she quickly discovers, the sheer force exerted by her heavenly legs amplifies this phenomenon. And with the tar pit’s great adhesion and viscosity with no nearby leverage above or below, Moka can’t use her legs to force her way out. Is Youkai Academy’s ultimate heroine about to discover her place as well?
