Physical Build:
Tolmi has long, slender legs. She is much more muscled than the average cheetah, but still has rather large lungs and narrow chest. Tolmi is longer in length than an average cougar would be. Her paws have retractable claws, unlike most cheetah's, and are also much larger, helping her to grip things much easier. She can use them to push herself off the ground, and often puts them to use in the trees, her favorite hangout. Her body is super thin and gangly, as well as tall. She has the coloration of the cougar, though mixed with a bit more yellow from her cheetah heritage. This girl also has some longer fur growing from the top of her head to the base of her neck, which is a bit thinner in summer. She thinks it grew in due to the cold temperatures of her home.

Fighting Tactics
Due to Tolmi's stature, she has difficulties fighting large felines. As a result, rather than engage in face to face combat, Tolmi tends to use guerrilla warfare tactics. This is where she excels, as she frequently pulls pranks on others and is used to coming up with ideas to hinder others. However, when forced into actual combat, Tolmi's speed and nimbleness comes in handy. She is able to maneuver quickly into the blind spots and weak points of her opponents, allowing her to equal out the fight. Whenever possible, Tolmi also tries to bring the fight into the trees, as this is where she spends much of her time and definitely has the upper paw there.

Sassy- "Well how'd you like it if I stepped on YOUR tail?"
Tolmi has a loud voice, and she isn't afraid to share it. If you get on her bad side, she's going to tell you about it. Loudly. It doesn't matter what size you are, this girl will always /attempt/ to put you in your place.

Playful- "I bet I can beat ya to that stump before you can even get one step in!"
Tolmi is always ready to play, at all hours of the day and night. She simply cannot be worn out! She is willing to play anything and everything as long as she isn't bored. She is competitive while playing, but would gladly lessen her skill so the other cat is having fun as well.

Adventurous- "I wonder what that is..."
If you aren't careful, this feline will slip away from you to investigate any new sights, sounds, or smells. If it's new, Tolmi is going to be the first to find it. She gets herself into plenty of trouble doing so as well, always willing to take risks.

Bold- "Hiya. What's your name? I'm Tolmi!"
Tolmi isn't afraid of anyone, and will start a conversation with any cat that will listen to her. She'll talk about anything, as well, and doesn't hesitate to acknowledge any elephants in the room. She doesn't mean to be, but she can be a bit rude. As soon as she realizes that she has hurt you though, she immediately apologizes.

Insecure- "I hope she doesn't think I'm an idiot now..."
She would never admit it, but the spunky little she-cat always wonders what others are thinking of her. She hates to be laughed at, and hates even more to be thought of in a negative respect. She has never talked about this with anyone, always keeping it on the down low.

Attentive- "Yes, I see."
This gal will hang onto your every word. She strangely enough enjoys being given instruction and always strives to correct herself according to direction. She lives to hear stories, and can practically recite them back to you when you finish. She can read emotions very well, because she really pays attention to every cat she meets.

(NEW) Bitter- "..."
She is not one to display this trait outwardly, but her time in the cages has caused her to become immensely hateful towards hunters and humans alike, specifically Iphigenia. She has been thoroughly disgusted by their ways of life, and their methods of dealing with 'problem cats' such as herself.

(NEW)Wary- "Stay back, let's question him more to make sure he is not a Hunter."
Tolmi used to be incredibly trusting of new cats she would meet, but now she finds it hard to immediately accept them as felines that mean her empire no harm. She is apt to ask more questions when encountering a new cat, and will appear more tense than she did in her past.

History:

CUB
Tolmi barely remembers her birth mother. She was born in the city to a cheetah, her father being a cougar of unknown origins. (Read more about her parents here: )The pregnancy was not planned, and thus the two cubs that were born were taken away almost immediately after birth. They were left to die on the street, considered worthless and weak. A man took them in and bottle fed them. Turning this time, her sister died, leaving only her and the man. She grew stronger every day, and more adventurous as well. One day she slipped out of the man's home and began to explore the streets surrounding his house. Not five minutes later she was lost, finding her way into some back street that seemed all but abandoned. She fell asleep on a pile of old cloth.
  She woke up that morning, face to face with a large male leopard. "What are YOU doin' here? She asked, tone accusing. She was beyond tired, the short trek through the city with no food weakening her small cub form. She still managed to gather up enough energy to stand up to the big cat. "I live here, shorty. Like your spunk though. Could put it to good use." Tolmi, called Shorty by the leopard, was to be taught as a messanger. The leopard, who's name was Dagger, was the one who would tell her stories to make her fall asleep, stories of wild cats that lived outside of any civilization. He was the one who took care of her, watching over her always. The two formed a close bond.
One night Dagger woke Tolmi up, telling her to follow him. She was carried by Dagger to the edge of the city. "Home?" Tolmi asked, still tired.
"We aren't going back, Shorty. I overheard the master talking, he wants to sell you. "
Tolmi blinked, not understanding.
"Do you remember the stories I told you? About the wild cats that live outside the city?"
Tolmi nodded, eyes brighter.
"That's where were going."
Tolmi fell asleep on the back of the leopard and was taken outside of the city, into Ice Empire territory. Dagger left her as far into the territory as he dared venture, turning back to return to his home. He could never survive out here, and besides, he liked his master. The only thing he would miss was that little cub.
Thus her new life began.
She made friends with many of the cubs, growing especially close to Griffon and Hukya. Her 'adoptive father' didn't spend much time with her, but she amused herself with pranks of various nature instead. She also grew to adore a gladiator named Shabeel.

APPRENTICE
  She threw herself wholeheartedly into her apprentice training, eager to learn and improve. During this time, she was adopted by Shabeel, and her friendship with Griffon grew into a crush. She tried to keep this hidden for as long as possible, fearing that the handsome feline would not return her feelings. Luckily, he did, and the two confessed and are technically 'dating'.
  Tolmi had her first run in with a bounty hunter in the form of a pale lion named Shane. He ambushed Tolmi and Griffon in the woods, giving Tolmi a scar, and Tolmi giving one in return. The two made it home alive, but the seed of Tolmi's hatred towards the hunters had been planted. This grew into an intense anger towards them over time.
  Soon after, Ice Empire was attacked by a bounty hunter raid. Tolmi fought bravely, but was captured by Rowan and Mihail. Many others were captured, including Chara, the Empire's leader. These felines were taken to the city. There she learned that the cub she had formerly known in Ice, Iphigania, had turned traitor and was growing up in the city. This was a major turning point in Tolmi's life, as through Iphigania she saw the corruption that the Bounty Hunters brought to whatever they touched. Tolmi vowed never to give in to them. Little did she know what lay ahead, in the deep pit of the Colosseum.
  Tolmi was involved in many Colosseum fights, though she only won a pawful. As a result, she was relatively starved for the period of months she was kept in her cages, as the humans did not see it fit to give her a higher quantity of food if she wasn't winning. Slowly, Tolmi began to lose hope of escape, though she still clung on to whatever scrap of it was left. The cheetah hybrid made friends with a cat in her neighboring cell, named Storm. She and Storm were both rescued from the Colosseum by an Ice Patrol, specifically launched to get them out of the cages. Her mother and Zadar became mates on the raid, and were expecting cubs! Shortly after, Tolmi completed her final apprentice assignment and was promoted to gladiator a few days before her second birthday.

GLADIATOR
As a gladiator, Tolmi began to throw herself wholeheartedly into her Empire. She suffered from nightmares and flashbacks in the daytime, as after her time in the cages she developed PTSD. Because of a fear that her empire had moved on and left her behind, she got into a huge fight with Griffon. However after a talk from Zadar, Tolmi and Griffon made up only a few days later. Life was looking good for Tolmi once more, despite frequent flashbacks.
And then came Chara's confession . Tolmi's world was shaken by her own leader. She found it hard to trust her leader, who as it turned out was the reason she had been in the cages in the first place. However, when Tolmi found Chara having en episode in the woods, the cheetah mix found it in herself to forgive her and move on. But Tolmi did not forget, and the lesson would stay in her mind for quite a while- do not trust so easily, even those you love can turn against you.
But not everyone you love. Griffon invited Tolmi onto their very first 'date', a joke since the two had been technically dating for a long time. The two ventured to a fake dinner Griffon had set up, consisting entirely of plants. Then they raced up part of a mountain to catch the sunset. And that's when Griffon pulled out two beautiful bracelets and Tolmi's life was changed forever.
The two weren't the smartest new couple, and cubs happened relatively soon after they became official. Now, Tolmi just has to fend off Griffon's constant worrying for a few more months, before five new cubs will be welcomed to the ever-growing Ice!

-Dislikes going places alone, it's so much more fun to get others in trouble along with yourself!

-Holds a deep grudge against hunters and humans, especially Iphigenia. She used to have sympathy for them, especially the humans ("The poor things, no fur or anything and only two legs!") But after her capture she was disgusted by them.

- Tolmi loves the dusk the most, always stays up late to watch the stars rise and the sun set.

-Often goes mountain climbing, when she can manage it. Griffon is usually dragged along, but she loves going up alone as well. As a result, she knows the mountains closest to Ice camp relatively well.

- She has PTSD from her 'City Vacation' as she has dubbed it, mostly resulting in nightmares and confusion about where she is when she wakes up. She also experiences flashbacks during the daytime, which will slowly phase out as she ages.

Tolmi rolled off him, getting to her paws rather quickly after her body hit the dust. She shook herself thoroughly before sitting down to regard Zadar. "I'm fine, but technically you're dead." She replied, flashing him a grin. "Don't worry, I'll make sure you get a proper burial and everything."Her eyes danced with laughter, though she only let out a slight chuckle. "Though your mane will have to be cleaned a bit more before your funeral." She tilted her head, tail tip curling around her paws.
