I was playing an old SNES game (E.V.O.: Search for Eden) and after admiring the graphics for a while decided to have a go at pixel art. I'm starting simple

This seems so soft to me, even though the pixels are so strong.
I think it's because of the soft colors like light pink and blue. Even the eyelashes aren't all the way black. *-*
