Description

Monique and Fox had finally started to settle into their routine and new life at Bloodstone. Monique was dubious of Fox's proposal of not only marriage, but to move from her home in France, in with him, in his home in Eterios. Now she sat in their room, watching the fire crackle and hiss gently in front of her, never having felt so full from such a spontaneous yes. He had made it his priority to include her in his day to day, asking her about her needs and desires, and making time to do her favorite things in their new home. Such as visiting the wild herd of brood let to roam the property who's parents could be dated back to the 1800s and earlier or riding out to the lake peak and watching the waterfalls. Her days were full of activites and even though she was working more than she ever had, she couldn't be happier and was thriving.

This spark was evident to everyone in Monique's life, she seemed softer and more patient, but was still her passionate firecracker self. They were even more elated when they were offered the flight out to visit them the first Holiday season Monique was gone, seeing for themselves how lucky the couples had found themselves. Not long after the holidays, her family suprised the couple with a special gift; the ability to use one mare and stallion from that season's breedings for the purposes of breeding their very first Bloodstone Progeny.

It was finally time, the arrangements were made for Dante's and Kir Royale's breeding and Monique could not be more excited as the days grew closer. The year danced by joyously, Fox and Monique grew more in love and were expecting their first child, and Bloodstone seemed happy with the love and life that they had brought with them. It would still be some time until either of Monique's babies would join her, the foal still had to be at least a year before she would even consider separating him from his dam and even then. The longer, the better in her mind.

She enjoyed the mysterious peace that came with the unknown and was happy to wait and to be surprised.

A fiery colt was born on a warm, snow covered, early morning in February. His fur was as red as the sun and he shined like a piece of copper. His dam proudly nursed him, cautiously allowing the Golden Vale staff to tend to them and firmly telling them when they were no longer wanted. But she liked Monique and loved Esriella, as did Inferno. It seemed from the very beginning that Monique and Inferno had a very knowing connection, she couldn't have asked for a more aware and intelligent first born in either of her babies.

When the day finally came for Inferno to be moved to Bloodstone, it wasn't a sad one, in fact he was jumping for joy as soon as he saw his family head down the aisle that morning. He only saw Monique, Fox, and Esriella once every couple of months at most but he always remembered them and knew they were special. The colt had grown into a fine 2 year old whoe was robust and imacculately proportionted. He has an excellent build for Eventing and a great mind to match, he was brave but not brash or dull-witted and was endlessly careful for his humans. His jaw dropping agility and accuracy that gave the staff at Golden Vale quite a scare once he realized he was capable of jumping out of the 4 post fence field or by juuust rubbing over the hedge and stone barriers unmarked, everytime.

It would be quite a treat to see where this lad could go and what feats he would reach, as it seemed the stars were already easily in his grasp.

He can tread being timid and shy to situations and needs a gentle and trustworthy rider and handler or he has a tendecy to fly past his tolerance level. Both of his parents passed on a great work ethic and fantastic movement, making him suitable for all disciplines and a great sire.

- Is trained to smile and VERY eager to show that behavior off any chance he gets.
- Loves to pose for pictures
- Loves water, hates mud

History: Was bred by Monique and Fox Aächen to marry the Richmond and Aisling Stud farm bloodlines to create bloodstock at Bloodstone. We was one of the very first horses born at Bloodstone under the shepharding of Fox and Kristoff. He was a group effort to start, as the staff were new to Bloodstone at the time and everyone pitched in and he's seen as the unofficial mascot of their generation.
