Ya know, hyenas are matriarchal and the females are the dominant ones. But it still happens to me quite often that I see people just don't care about this fact and draw hyena couples with more dominant male. Like, yeah, you can draw whatever you want, but this seems quite stupid to me. The matriarchy is one of the things I love about hyenas the most and I think it's a pity when someone changes it.
So I've drawn one of my OCs, Tawala (who is a matriarch of some hyena clan), with one of her males (who I still need to name xD). In fact, Tawala is my only one hyena OC who is into males; the other ones are lesbian, hah. Well, and even Tawala is just bisexual (or maybe pan?) and she's going to have a girlfriend, but that's not important for this pic xD
By the way, the male's head seems a bit bigger than Tawala's, and that pisses me off. :----))) (but maybe it's because the male's hairstyle is making his head look bigger.. and maybe he just has a big head but it still doesn't change the fact that he's henpecked)
