The Night Angel Trilogy is more epic than Twilight.I just had to draw a fan art of this scene from the Way of Shadows when Kylar and Durzo are fighting.
Kylar's the one jumping/in the air.
My first fan art from the series.
Hopefully more to come.

I really like that picture! I think it's drawn cutely!
And of course it's more epic than Twilight! (doesn't take that much in my opinion, though, I mean, they're nice evening literature that "flows" nicely "down" your "throat", but the characters are simply ... flat)
Well, I used to say:
"Know Twilight? Know Eragon? Then you surely agree with me that Eragon is way... better written and allows more insight into the characters than Twilight. And it's also digging deeper." (I meant better characterization and realistic ... developing and behaviour)
Now I can say:
"Know Twilight? Know Eragon? Then you surely agree with me that Eragon is way... better written and allows more insight into the characters than Twilight. Well, now imaging I read a book which made Eragon look as though it had barely scraped the surface of its characters!"

You know, I was a sucker for all the lovely-dovey stuff in Twilight....but the Night Angel series TOTALLY and COMPLETELY pwns Twilight.
I have to admit, I like Stephanie Meyer's style a lot better-- feels like it flows more-- but her mastery of story telling comes no where as near as Brent Weeks. His plots are pure genius, and the details he inserts from page one are incredible-- if you ever reread, you'll find yourself saying, "How in the nine rings of hell did I miss THAT?!"
Anyways, cute drawing XD If Master Blint could ever be referred to as cute, lol. Maybe Kylar...bur Blint? *shudders* He'd have your head in a minute for that. Master Blint is NOT to be compared to hello-kitty or a fluffy chihuahua, if that even exists.
