I can explain why the 80s is re-surging: The 50s re-surged in the 80s. Since fads repeat every 30 years, and it's at LEAST 2010, the 80s are the new 50s.

Jem is my another favorite cartoon show in the 80's.
Man, how time goes by to say goodbye that decade?
I miss the good old show like that and many more.
