So.I watched Paprika recently.
Possibly one of the most visually stunning pieces of animation I have seen in quite a while.
I loved the characters, and hold a specific soft spot for girls who are named after spices! :>
....except the Spice Girls. (outwardly, anyway...shh.)

Perhaps we overlook that manga is actually JAPAN's equivalent of comic book superheroes. Looking at this and thinking back to the movie, Japan has their original and "psychological" heroes, who can dance and play with reality in the conscious of the human collective (>_o) Though I have to say that this is perhaps a hero for all who suffer from "multiple personalities", but then again just watching "The Breakfast Club" reminds me that we all suffer from jockness, brainess, beautiness, criminalness, and basketcaseness. So yeah, we need to learn to accept the complexity it is of our human selves, just like this character.
