Kiba and Kitsune have been playing tag lately. In the first page, Kiba was just jumping around for fun, but then he sees Kitsune join him, he smirks, knowing she started the game up again. ^_^
yay for tag!
This is also the page where they explain that Kitsune has a photographic memory. It's as uncommon in the Naruto world as it is in ours, so it qualifies her as a Genius.
I'm so proud of Kitsune's hand. ^_^ That perspective turned out phenominally, more so than I could have ever hoped for.

I was making a joke. I have seen some very nicely written fan fictions and such, but they are few and far between because it's very hard to pull off.

Sure. Anything for a fellow manga-ka. ^_-
For foreshortening, one of the best ways to practice is to actually take a picture of yourself/someone with an arm or some point on the body closer to the camera than the rest. Print out the picture and trace it, map it, learn the dimensions of the body. Then put the picture away and try to replicate it out of memory. I did this a few times and it helped me learn. Soon enough, I had learned so much that I can now mess around with bodily perspective without a photo reference, like you see here in pg. 5. ^^

oh. you see i tried with a picture only...but printing it out and traceing it is something i haven't tried.. it sounds like it would help me .

Thats what i have the most trouble with..body dimensions and perspectives..which is why have not been able to draw awesom panels like that one ^^
this doujin is really good by the way it's one of my favorites that i have found on dA ^^
