Back in my 'youth', we had FULL SERVICE 'gas'
stations ....
You pulled your car next to a gas pump and an 'attendant',
usually 'male', came out and asked how much 'gas' you wanted
and then did what you asked ....
He also then 'washed' the 'windshield', checked the 'oil' dipstick,
checked the 'air' in all '4' tires as needed and took your money
inside and brought ya' back outside the 'change' from what you
gave him ....
Nowadays, in America, it's ALL SELF SERVE ....
I'm GUESSING that IF someone would START up FULL SERVICE gas stations
again, with 'sweeties' like ABOVE, that CARS would be LINED UP for BLOCKS
waiting to FILL UP! ....
