my wishlist (i have calculated their ages, this is what they would all be at OT personally i never considered that canon though, story for me stopped after SSX 3, so they could have same ages maybe?):

I've slightly altered/ extended things since then, i'll show u:

I also would (if it were up to me) include six other characters...two of them I created; Erin Ivanov (25) and Fay Andrews (17). the other four are great characters made by other people. Eve Shepard (who is 22 and is essentially a black east coast chick who would make a great "younger Seeiah"). Freya Parker (23, a a red haired girl from New Zealand) Eve and Freya are friends apparently...same person made both of them. Dmitriy Mirkin (25 from Russia), Skylar Aguilar (24, a Dominican republican from new York).
as for how the game would work...it would be a very "OPEN WORLD" sort of SSX...it would still have race, trick, survival and free ride as the primary events and it would still feature the real world as the main game (like SSX 2012). however there will also be some bonus mountains and courses u can unlock like Big Mountain, Merqury City, Mt Eddie, Tokyo Megaplex...which are more reminiscent of the classic series.
Only some of the riders would be available at first...yes you have to unlock them...but it isn't hard...merely a matter of winning gold medals like in Tricky. some characters talk to each other in brief cutscenes if they meet each other...especially if they have a friendship, relationship or grudge etc.
another important thing I want to emphasis...the stats of the characters is on THEM...not their boards...so that way u can just use whatever board u like and not worry about losing a race...use the board that u like for style. either that or u can change the vinyl of your board and the stats are on the BOARD itself and u can just change the coating.
as for story I'm not sure yet...it would be cool to have a competition again where they all compete against each other...but I also would like to have jack (the unknown rider) properly introduced. I don't know if u know this but he was MEANT to be in SSX 2012 but they cut him. I presume jack is just an alias mind u. I was thinking it would be cool if he formed his own team and took on SSX.

that all sounds pretty cool but as a point of clarification...Nate is the same age as Elise (in fact it is even hinted at one point that Elise fancies him) anyway just thought u might want to consider that. it's your game but if u want to do something about that it's up to you. I forgot to mention their nationalities in mine but for the most part they are the same as they have always been:
Mac is from Manhattan, New York. Elise is from Vancouver, BC, Canada. Kaori is from Tokyo, Japan. Moby is from Brixton, London but is Trinidadian-British like it says in 2012. Zoe's exact birthplace is unknown but she was raised in Baltimore, Maryland, USA (implied she was adopted). JP is from Lyon, France (I don't know if that was the original profile story...can't remember...but if I was to re-write his profile I would say he was from there.) Psymon is from Squamish, BC, Canada. Eddie is from Seattle, USA (again not sure, re-write), Marisol is from Caracas, Venezuela (I remember this from the original profile). Marty is from Munich, Germany (technically he is half American though as he is Mac's older cousin). Allegra is from San Francisco, CA, USA (don't think they ever verified where she was from in SSX 3...but I can picture her being a skater girl from that sort of place). Griff is from San Diego, CA, USA (again they never said where he was from, so I just had to make this up). Both Nate and his brother Tyson are from Colorado...obviously. Viggo is from Stockholm, Sweden. Sid is from Japan...but I decided to add to his mysterious personality and leave it a mystery WHERE in japan he is from...so not necessarily Tokyo. Skye Simms is apparently from the Gold Coast of Australia. Tane is from Suva in Fiji, Ty is from Tromso in Norway and Alexis is from Chamonix in France. Maya is from the North West territories of Canada (she is Inuit Canadian). Felix is from Montreal, Canada (French- Canadian). my character Erin is Austrian- American, she was born in Salzburg, Austria but grew up traveling the USA. Fay Andrews is British, born in Devon, England. Eve is from the East Coast, USA (i sadly can't be more specific than that, the creator wasn't), Freya is from Timaru, South Island, New Zealand. Dmitriy is from Moscow, Russia and Skylar is from the Bronx, New York, USA.
all in all I very mixed group and I think all 28 of them make a nice varied Team SSX. some characters had to leave IMO...Hiro, Jurgen, Seeiah, Brodi and Luther seemed like the obvious choices for various reasons. In terms of Luther...not gonna lie...I just hate him...no other way to put it...he is a fat, mean, slob of a bully. Hiro seemed too focused on a single type of snowboarding...only the Alpine board. Jurgen was too old...Marty can replace him as the "German" guy IMO. Seeiah can be replaced by Eve...sho is not only also black and sassy but also does tricks. Brodi is pretty much a white version of Tane...let's be honest. I loo kat brodi now and think...when they designed him they were running out of ideas for SSX characters...so they just made ANOTHER American...well I would rather have a Fijian snowboarder/surfer over a American one anyday. plus Tane's backstory is awesome..he is the best surfer in the Southern Hemisphere...that is badass...no wonder he can outrun avalanches.

Well, I like Hiro sorta, if they haven't replaced him with Brodi, I think he could have had an amazing Personality boost, just like the other Veterans. I Added Jurgen to mine due to the story. Seeiah's not the Best Character, She also has a pretty weird design. If they Changed up Brodi's Nationality, he would have been a little better. Luther is not a good character, yeah, I'll just put it at that.

sure, go right ahead. I agree with you about Luther whole heartedly. he is actually the ONLY SSX character I don't like...so I didn't take the other out due to dislike...I just felt some had to leave because I wanted a shade of realism amongst the craziness of SSX...and in reality some snowboarders leave or retire...it's sad but true. I would mention Brodi though because Marisol is dating him and Seeiah because Eve replaces him...and Hiro is mentioned by Kaori. so they get honourable mentions 
interesting fact: did you know that originally Hiro was going to be in SSX Tricky, along with Brodi and Marisol, not instead of. the 14th character was going to be Marty, Mac's cousin. unfortunately they chose not to have Hiro at the last minute and so this left them with 13 characters and a half finished Marty...so they didn't know what to do. In the end they decided they would still include Marty but only put him in the EU version of Tricky...the US version would get Mac and the EU version would get Marty instead of Mac.

The Story is a lot more deep and Story-like than the Previous games, it takes place after SSX 2012, DJ Atomika makes a return to give tons of updates, through Radio BIG, which is news, Interviews, and of course, playing the soundtrack. The story has a main focus on Mac, Kaori, Elise, Zoe, Moby and Allegra. Who are all friends living in the same lodge for the 7th SSX tournament(Mac and Kaori are in a Relationship, and it gets more noticeable when the Story progresses.). 3 former SSX Competitors, JP, Jurgen, and Griff take revenge on SSX for shaming all of them as low-level competitors. As the Competition starts, it seems very easy, safe and lighthearted(Like the first 5 SSX games.), but overtime, the Tracks get more Dangerous, The Atmosphere gets Darker, and the Competition becomes more Corrupt(Like SSX 2012 was supposed to be.), due to JP, Jurgen and Griff Hijacking Radio BIG. It's up to the SSX Boarders to put an end to the 3's Reign of Terror, and bring happiness and glory back to the SSX competition. In the Final Race/Trick event, you have to battle either of the 3, then depending on wiether you win or lose, you'll get a good or bad ending. In the Good ending, Mac, Kaori, and the others stop the 3 from ruining the Event, by putting them in jail. In the Bad Ending, the 3 set up a trap, and end up killing the SSX Riders that tried to stop them with the Deadliest Descent.

not bad, an interesting idea. I particularly like the competition element and it getting more and more intense as the game goes on and having two different endings. not so sure about SSX dying though...sounds a little bit too intense...but otherwise very cool.
been thinking about my own story; as I said before the SSX Team is made up of a total of 28 characters (some u have access to immediately some u have to unlock). I finally decided I think the best thing to do would be to have an "Enemy Team" led by Jack (aka the Unknown Rider") now in single mode and multiplayer u can play as Jack and his comrades when you unlock them but in story mode they are unplayable. two of them are technically new they are Andy and Brad Wilson (brothers from Wyoming, USA aged 26 and 29), then we have two characters that were AI ones in the very original SSX: Molly from California (26) and Troy from UK (28). I got these ideas cause I thought why not have characters who would hold a grudge from a previous tournament...so I took the names of two AI characters from the first SSX.
So much like in SSX 2012 (though on a larger scale) it is a global tournament. the basic story is after the Deadly Descent...the unknown rider known as Jack has challenged SSX and taken all their money that they earned; he's claiming they cheated and is demanding a "double or nothing" rematch. jack has a smaller team but far more skilled; brad is his race expert, andy is average at everything, molly and troy are trick pros. Jack is just as much a master as Zoe or Elise or Mac...so yeah. after your mention of two endings I might consider adding something along those lines...that is an interesting idea. I have to admit I had this interesting idea once of Zoe racing Jack and having to choose between losing the race and saving Jack's life...making kind of a morality choice thing. my story is still a work in progress though.

Bio: Rising up out of the streets of Manhattan, Mac Fraser stunned the crowds and judges with his tricks and stunts from day one; entering the first tournament, SSX World Tour, at the age of 15. Officially this shouldn’t have been allowed, as all competitors have to be 16 or older to compete in SSX. However after Mac’s display of raw talent they made an exception for him, a key to stardom he still boasts about today. Mac is a laid back guy who has always been in love with three things; snowboarding, women and music. Mac loves music so much he rides to the beat of his own personal soundtrack and performs as a DJ when not snowboarding. He’s the first into the park in the morning and last to pack it in at the end of the day with snowboarding and skateboarding alike. He is a guy who rides with the quiet confidence and stylish flare of riders twice his age. Over the years Mac has become the “King” of the SSX Circuit and his only real fear, though he’d never admit it, is being outshined. Mac is currently in a relationship with fellow SSX Freestyle Superstar, Kaori Nishidake. He now lives the life of a “Pro Snowboarder”; whether he’s rapping it up as a DJ, hitting it off with the ladies, hanging with his friends or tricking it out on the slopes he’s doing it all with an ear to ear smirk. Bio: Back in Japan, Kaori was always a skilled snowboarder with highly colourful/ creative tastes and trends. With her father working as head of a major kid’s animation show her first job was the voice of one of its main characters, Orange Explosion Fun Girl. Originally she had planned to join the Japanese Olympic Team but after discovering SSX she became inspired by them instead. Although she was barely old enough she made it onto the SSX World Tour at the age of 16, a shy yet talented girl. Her tricks and stunts were not only death defying but also as imaginative and creative as her fashion tastes. Her key to stardom was breaking the record high score on Snowdream and still holds the title of “Queen” of that course. Since then Kaori has progressed to becoming the biggest female celebrity in the whole of Japan. She has her own clothing line, her own manga/ animation comic and cartoon as well as her own fashion show all designed by her personally. However Kaori hasn’t let fame and fortune go to her head, though more grown up than when she first entered SSX she is still girly, immature at heart and social with friends and fans alike. Her shy side has gone though and she has rapidly become a major extrovert. She has developed a taste for excitement and adventure; she loves roller coasters and intense snowboarding among other things. Her older brother Akira is the creator of the infamous Tokyo Megaplex Snowboard Park, something he primarily created to show how proud he was of his sister. Kaori has always had a friendly rivalry and love interest in Mac Fraser; the two are always seen trying to out trick each other, putting on firework like displays of stunts for the audience. Seeing a new rival in fellow Japan native, Sid, Kaori is determined to push herself into more adventurous territory while still keeping her “golden heart” reputation. At the end of the day though Kaori still believes having fun is the important thing, not winning.

Bio: Raised in the rural outskirts of Baltimore, Maryland but actually an orphan before joining the family; Zoe Payne has a mysterious background but from the moment she got her first dirt bike at the age of 9 she became obsessed with anything that could put the wind in her hair. She was soon firmly entrenched in the Dirt Bike and Motocross scene taking the extreme terrain riding to whole new levels. Young, wild and extremely independent her unique style and personality has always made her stand out from the rest of the SSX Crew. Zoe has stayed the crowd favourite ever since, the “Wild Card” on the circuit. In between the first and second tournament she took part in the famous Sledstorm Snowmobile Tournament, continuing to broaden her horizons. Zoe goes out of her way to stay unique; she laughs off trends and fads, preferring to mix and make her own styles, rather than follow others. She’s the puzzle men can’t help but try and figure out. The off seasons for Zoe are all about finding a balance; she takes off on gruelling and gnarly solo bike treks into the deepest and most treacherous jungles or across isolated mountain ranges, her only motivation… herself. Physically and mentally she is now at a level few could ever hope to understand let alone reach. Since the end of the last tournament Zoe has travelled the world over, single mountain ranges and jungle treks no longer enough of a challenge. Zoe has plans to run a bike/ coffee shop with Moby Jones once the SSX Circuit ends but until then she’ll ride like the one of a kind “Demon” that she is.

LOL nice, funny stuff, I particularly like the mac n kaori one...it is funny to have stuff about inter-character relations. I personally have always had a very fixed view of how each of the riders see Atomika; Elise (actually this goes for most females) thinks he is kind of an ass to women. Mac is fairly chilled towards him but likes to call him A-Bomb (which he hates), Kaori doesn't really care so long as he is nice to her. Moby thinks he's a jerk. Zoe likes to make his life agony (in a fun way), Psymon likes to make his life hell (not so fun way). Allegra is sick of him hitting on her (

Bio: Eddie “The Kid” Wachowski is a fearless, funny and tenacious goofball; they call him “The Kid” because he acts far younger than his 25 years. He first entered SSX at the Tricky World Tour when he was 19 years old; he comes from the Xtreme and lightning paced world of Street Luge. Eddie may not be the prettiest guy and viewed as a bit of a dork but, like the gravity defying rush of street luge, he is fast in everything he does. He talks fast, rides faster and is a fountain of trivia and pop culture references. He has a sharp tongue, quick-wit and won’t back down from anyone. He is both, in appearance and personality, stuck in the 70’s with his bright shirts, huge afro and retro quotes. He can also hack pretty much any computer which has gotten him into trouble with governments in the past. As well as street luge Eddie is a pro dancer. Since leaving at the end of Tricky no one is sure what Eddie has been up to, it was rumoured he was on a University course for a while but then got kicked out for reasons related to his hacking. However recently Eddie has finally revealed that he named and designed a carnival like mountain resort called Mt Eddie located somewhere in or near the Appalachian Mountains.

Bio: Outside of Japan not much is known about the new comer called Sid, not his last name or even if Sid is his real first name. What is known is that he was a late entry to SSX; he stormed onto the latest SSX scene and his skills instantly earned him a place on the circuit as one of the new boarders. At first people were shocked by his forward demand to be part of the circuit but Sid shredded up a run and left the judges speechless. His riding was described as “surgical”; he’s the sort of guy who doesn’t talk to prove his worth, he lets his skills and odd fashion tastes do his talking. He appears to have caught the eye of both Kaori and Mac; both see him as a challenge and in Mac’s case maybe even a threat to his title. Sid’s unique taste in clothing is a cross between several trends and makes him standout greatly for a guy who seems to have no interest in making friends, aside from his attraction to Kaori. If people like Sid, he likes them but he isn’t in anything for popularity. Sid is a “funkified” philosopher, a particular kind of up and coming celebrity; most people are either fascinated by him, worship him or despise him. He is cold, aloof and closest to an Asian Andy Warhol; his personality is quirky and bizarre mixed with a dose of twisted.

Bio: Hailing from the suburbs of San Francisco, Allegra first joined SSX at the third tournament on Big Mountain when she was 18 years old. There she instantly began turning heads. Her key to stardom was her mastery of the Slopestyle course R&B; weaving over, under and around the rocks, through the trees and even over a railway on the insane course. Allegra is a rebel, a dream date to all skater boys and a rival to many girls.
She is an icon to rebellious teenage girls everywhere though with her slightly sexist attitude towards men. Allegra lives to prove that although guys are cool to hang with and occasionally date, they will never be half as cool or superior as any chick. She is also known for her bipolar behaviour and often is quoted as having “issues”. Allegra scoffs at training and practice, she believes in using her naturally young, fit and athletic body to win, following the motto “all me, all natural, all excellent”. Sponsors barely tolerate her and only do because of her ability to catch people’s eye for good or bad reasons. She caught the media’s attention when she took a swing at Elise Riggs and when she publicly rejected Viggo Rolig’s approaches. Bio: Jean-Paul “JP” Arsenault is the son of French highly successful corporate parents. A psychiatrist would call him a man in need of some serious counselling; he has nothing and everything at the same time. JP learned most of life’s ugly lessons through experience and adopted all of them as part of his credo. With his parents never having time for their little “side-project” he has always craved attention and knows how to draw a crowd and the ladies. Acting arrogant and upper class to hide his personal problems JP literally gets by on money and looks alone. Good looking in that boy band way and devoid of any endearing qualities he epitomizes the phrase “Style over Substance”. He entered the SSX World Tour at the age of 25 and returned a year later for the Tricky World Tour. His key to stardom was being the first person to break a Mac Fraser record score, beyond that he was already famous due to his background. In the off-season JP uses his looks and money to get into anything he wants; he follows a Wakeboarding Circuit in the summer and enters break dancing competitions and sports car races year round. Having always incorporated his wakeboarding and break dancing techniques into his snowboarding JP’s tricks alone left a mark in the SSX Hall of Fame. Though returning to find himself one of the older competitors this year round JP is determined to knock Mac Fraser off his pedestal and remove his title of “Stunt King”.

The problem with On Tour was the fact that the character was taken away from the main SSX veterans and the fact that you couldn't put a lot of features into your own snowboarder. Perhaps they aimed a little too close towards the Tony Hawk Underground experience most people already know about. SSX is better with the arcade and competition experiences the series had with the first three!
