Coincidence Iris and Barry are born the same day. I thought he was a little older than her.

....huh. That's an interesting route for her backstory. At bare minimum, you kept her New 52 parentage, both of her brothers, Joe West, and her more stable relationship from the comics, as opposed to the will-they-won't-they from the show. It's definitely an interesting take.

I love you you incorporated the Russells without the time travel. I always thought that was a convoluted and unnecessary plot point anyway.
Speaking of which, I wanted to say I think you do a very nice job of incorporating the different adaptations of characters into one. I've been working on my own personal timeline myself with amalgam versions of characters, similar to what you've done, and I can say it's not always easy as it seems. Any tips?

Thank you very much. If I have any tips, it's come up with some ground rules for your universe and abide by them. For instance, there is no access to parallel Earths or time travel in Earth-27.
Furthermore, I try to design costumes to be practical and armored whenever it makes sense to do so. I'm a big fan of giving utility belts to people who normally don't have them as I imagine it can't be convenient to work in a skintight outfit without pockets.
Another tip is don't be afraid to change things from canon. If something doesn't work, excise it and do something else. Similar to this, if you think it would be interesting to go a different route with something try it out. I aim to make characters familiar but fresh, putting some spin on them whenever I can.

Is Iris conductivity of the SF a hint at the idea she could become a Speedster (if only briefly, even)? I know in the comics, Speedsters are capable of extending their powers onto others, or (I think, not entirely sure) imbue them with a connection to the SF.
Also, will this new edition of Speedsters be like the whole Flash, Inc. thing DC did in the Godspeed arch? Like when multiple people were being trained to be speedsters?

I'm not a fan of the psuedo-brother/sister dynamic that the two have... but I do like her actress in show, even if I don't care for the Barry/Iris relationship in that show.

To be fair, comic books are soap operas targeted to a different audience. I mean, both daytime soap operas and comic books share many conventions: long list twins, supposedly dead characters returning time and again, long serial-format stories that spans decades, larger than life characters, heroes, villains, love triangles, and so forth... but yeah, I get what you're saying. The "will they, won't they" aspect and the ends the show goes to put them together, break them apart, put them back together, and all that to build artificial tension get tiring. Still, it's better than Gotham!

I'd much rather see a show about Bruce's ACTUAL training. About him traveling the world, meeting with the likes of Kirigi, Wildcat, Zatara, Henry Ducard, Harvey Davis, David Cain, Willie Doggett, etc. And training alongside younger versions of Dinah, Zatanna, Morgan Ducard, and maybe even Cassandra.

If I had a choose to date Vicki Vale, Lois lane, or Iris West I'd date Iris, yes Lois has survived though worst and she has the Man of Steel protecting her but as the bullet is about to leave the gun Barry is there and knocks out anyone before they know what happened.
