Brunhilda? Is she Norwegian?
I always liked her career's focus on B-movies. It was always a fun form of foreshadowing for the nature of her superhero career.
So was The Daughter of Didi a reference to Green Mansions, or to Rita the Jungle Girl?

Ah, so this Rita is similar to that of the Young Justice version. Man, I bet Megaan is fangirling so much on how she can team up with her!

Both Green Mansions and RIMA the Jungle Girl.

As for her middle name, I originally had the line "Rita is the daughter of Dr. Wilson Farr who named his only daughter Margarita Brunhilda to honor both his wife and immigrant mother respectively." But I had to cut it out after I added some other lines when I realized I had forgotten to mention her Olympic gold medal.

interestingly enough, Professor X and the rest of the original X-men may have been based off the Doom Patrol way back in the day.

Poor girl. Stepping into what she thought was a hot spring, ends up being much worse. Quite the beauty to be chronologically near 60, but look like she's in her late 20s to mid 30s

Aye her transformation also changed it so she doesn't age.

Quite the trade off

It's actually quite a normal part of the powerset for a shape-shifter or an.... elastomer? Stretcher? Whatever. Since their cells are constantly regenerating to keep them from falling apart, they typically age MUCH slower than a normal person.
