Bruce's reaction to Jason's death has been treated differently by different writers. He's gone from almost having no reaction to hanging up the cowl and becoming a drunk. In Earth-27, it's somewhere between those two extremes.

How is Terry going to become the new batman?

Is he going to become Batman's (Damian Wayne) Robin?

From what I read, if Terry is 9 and Damien is 16-18 in 2016, then which one will take up the mantle (Terry in the animated series takes the mantle at age 18-20)?

I am merely planting seeds for future stuff. I have not completely determined all my plans for the future, though I have thoughts for Earth-27 in 2027... especially for the Bat-Family.

Terry is implied to be Bruce's biological on. if you do the math, it is very likely that Julie was pregnant with Terry when she and Bruce broke up.
