On Earth-27, Julie Madison is the girl that Bruce let get away (again and again)... and if you look closely, not only is she connected to Bruce's past but also to the future of Batman.

How did you come to the side of Terry being Bruce's son, and Julie being Terry's mom

In canon (as far as DCAU is concerned and I presume the comics as well), Terry is Bruce's son/semi-clone, so I felt that was something I was going to do in Earth-27 but I didn't really care for the sci-fi impregnation. With Bruce's plethora of love interests in the past, I felt it was not at all unbelieveable to assume he had a child out there and since Damian isn't an illegitimate child in Earth-27 since Bruce and Talia were married at the time, I decided to put Terry in that role instead (which I felt also gave Damian more of an excuse to be so pompous as the only 'legitimate' child of the Batman).
As for Julie, that one just sort happened. I was watching Batman Beyond to do research for E27 and in one episode, Mrs. McGinnis mentions she has a tattoo and the New 52 version of Julie has a bunch of tattoos. With those and them both having red hair and me wanting to find a girl to fit the bill for Terry's mother in Earth-27, I settled on Julie. It was just sort of a happy accident how I came to that logic, but I actually really like this as I feel it gives more dimension to Terry's mother and should add an interesting dynamic to those talks between Mrs. McGinnis and Bruce Wayne when Terry starts working for Bruce.

That would be interesting. Julie knows all about Batman so she'd be worried about Terry dying like Jason did.

Technically, she never was cued into Bruce's life as Batman. Julie had assumptions, sure, especially after Jason's death but she was happy not to know for certain and never brought the subject up. Bruce would have told her if they would have married. That all said, she will have apprehensions about Terry working for Bruce for many reasons.

Wonder how Terry's gonna find out Bruce is his dad? Also are characters like Chelsea Cunningham or Dana Tan going to get updated designs

Dana for sure. As I am rewatching Beyond, the more I am open to bringing Chelsea in as well but at this time I have no concrete plans to do so. If someone wants to sponsor Chelsea, I'm all for it, though.

As that's not something I care about too much, that is likely to be a matter of the sponsor's decision (if they care). Otherwise, I'd probably go short... but in a different way.

I don't know yet. I just think that Mary McGinnis from Batman Beyond always looked a little too "1950s Housewife" with the way she had her hair and her wardrobe. I'd like to reflect the times... especially since she lives in the future.

Interesting I must say, So Julie got pregnant with Terry, makes a bit more sense then the whole clone thing. Although, it does bring up some questions like is Matt Bruce's kid too? Will Terry know that Bruce is his father? When Terry's Batman does he work with an Old Bruce or an Old Damian (Cause I'm pretty sure that's a thing)?

Matt is probably not Bruce's kid in Earth-27. Doing such would need that cloning element or need Julie to be unfaithful.

Dude you and Phil should try to talk to Geoff Johns the Chief creative officer of DC and tell him of Earth-27 cause your mixing the history of Pre-52 along with some elements of the shows, movies, and games with the looks of New-52 games, and movies. He'd probably give you and Phil a chance.

Cool, I like it. But should Terry really be 9 years old? That implies he was conceived in late 2006/early 2007, which seems a bit too soon for Julie to be married and get pregnant since she broke up with Bruce in 2006 after Jason died. If she genuinely loved Bruce, she shouldn't have been able to move on soon quickly.

Do the math. She broke up with Bruce in November of 2006... and Warren is her "new" husband and they have a one year old son, Matt.
You're right, Julie didn't move on so quickly after she broke up with Bruce... she was busy playing single mother for a few years before she married Warren.
