Thanks to dbaesler for requesting this VOX Box.And yes, this is heavily adapted from the scene in Batman Begins.
A lot of Bruce's origins is borrowed from that movie, which in my controversial opinion is the best of the Nolan movies (yes, even better than Dark Knight - but it's an embarrassment of riches between those two movies, really. They're both phenomenal films).

Hey there. Hope this helps.
Bruno Mannheim: Head of Intergang. Fair to call him the Metropolis equivalent of Carmine Falcone. Most well-known for killing a bunch of C-List villains during 52, including Kite Man and Sewer King. Has known connections with Darkseid.
Alexandra Kosov: Head of the Odessa Mob in Gotham. One of the primary participants of the infamous War Games, most well-known for becoming Black Mask's primary flunky in the aftermath. Has a blue jewel in her left eye.
Whisper A'Daire: A Snake-Woman in every conceivable way. An immortal shape-shifter with a penchant for poisons and mind-control. She terrorized Gotham during 52 and became a particular threat to Batwoman.
Tobias Whale: As the name suggests, he's a Whale of a man! Another crime lord from Metropolis who eventually makes his way to Gotham, he is a personal enemy of Black Lightning. If you watched the Justice League Unlimited Episode, Double Date, Steve Mandragora was based off him.
Ignatius Oglivy: You're right about him being Penguin's "number one guy", but things didn't stay that way. When left in temporary charge of Penguin's operations, Oglivy tried to take over permanently and got juiced on a smorgasbord of steroids, turning him into a blue-skinned monster. After being arrested, Oglivy used his new strength to take over Blackgate and adopted the nom-de-guerre of "Emperor Blackgate".
and Maxie Zeus: Considering his wealth and the fact that most of his henchmen genuinely see him as a god, it would be fair to call him both a costumed rogue and a crime lord. Just one of the many quirks within Gotham's criminal underworld.

Batman Year One everybody!!!
Well this is really interesting to see Roy, and I think this could lead into my VOX idea of Barbara teaching the younger heroes of how out of control crime and corruption used to be in Gotham and the differences between fighting crime syndicates and gangs vs super villains and rogues. Basically the time before "Long Halloween". Wait side note are those GGCC guys still around? You know, the Gotham Gentleman's Cigar Club? What are they exactly anyway? And if organized crime is coming back does that mean Falcone and Maroni are too? Along with Rupert Thorne and other crime lords?

It was great line from the movie my favorite Batman movie line is "Breath it in, that's fear. You're not brave, men are brave." But if you decide if Superman was to die the best way to show that heart break in Batman to see his friend dying would be like when Spock died in Wrath of Kahn with him saying to Kirk, "You are, and shall always be my friend."

Is he using a raspy voice or is he using the voice changer tech?

I actually had it listing his voice as modulated under his picture, but tweaked it and removed that feature because I thought it might be too high-tech for this early in his career. So... he's using a different voice. Not the Bale voice as I imagine him more like Kevin Conroy when he talks.

I kinda like the idea that Bruce ''stole'' his gear from Wayne Enterprises when he first started out. During the first couple of months that is. Then Lucius catches on and Bruce has no choice but to bring him into the fold.

It would be chuckle-worthy if someone, say Dick Grayson-Age 12, remarked how Batman's voice sounds like Sonic the Hedgehog after swallowing a frog.
