Since I did the David picture I had the urge to draw my own version of Jesus' 12 disciples and the Messiah himself. You know, it's pretty fun imagining Jesus and his disciples as a sort of class and their teacher - which, yeah, of course they are - but in the sense of being on a field trip and acting all goofy and doing activities. Like imagine one of them coaxing the others to play some sort of game of catch. Oh yes, of course Jesus joins in, he's the first one to agree. "Go long, Thomas!" "I don't think I can go that long that, Rabbi." "Oh ye, full of doubt."You know, I have a memory of my elementary years... my school would give out awards each end-of-the-year day which would say what Bible character we were most like. I of course don't have them stashed with me (thanks to my mom) but I believe I always got Peter. A strong and loyal disciple, always at the side of Jesus. It made all the students pretty excited to get one. You can just imagine kid me bragging to my mom about how awesome I was to be like Peter. Ahhh... good ol days. Anyways, enjoy this picture. I'm really glad the way the Sons of Thunder turned out, just a pair of grumpy followers. Have a good day!

OMG, okay so here goes,
Peter and Andrew are super adorable babies, they are my sons.... (of thunder, lol jk) SPEAKING OF SONS OF THUNDER JAMES AND JOHN ARE TOTALLY HOT. ALSO THEY LOOK SO SNARKY. I totally see why James and John and Peter had all those dumb arguments. "Jesus!! Jesus!! Who's your favorite?? Is it me?? (its totally me)" Jesus: *pinches nose* Look guys... thats not how this works...
Also PHILIP AND BARTHOLOMEW, WHAT A DUO. LOOK AT THEM.

I love how Judas just looks super skeevy too haha... And Simon the Zealot... SO. BADASS.
Jesus looks like he's just sort of goin "dudes, pls chill" and peter and andrew have a sort of mischevious glint in their eyes liek 'ohoho thats not happenin' and Jesus is like 'peter no' and peters like 'peter YES' (you cannot convince me that isn't basically how all their interactions went ... >.> )
anyway this is pretty awesome. nice job!

A whole series that's mainly Jesus chilling with the Apostles in between miracles and parables would be cool.
With Judas naturally being the buzzkill.
