Description
#1 in my summer series. This summer I'm going to be doing a lot of illustrations, and I'm going to start numbering them from here. A lot of the illustrations are going to be book illustrations in preparation for what I'm pretty sure will be my senior thesis. If you've never read the book, "The Witches" by Roald Dahl it is probably one of my favorites. Not to mention the movie that came out in my childhood was pretty faithful to the book. I think I like the relationship between the retired witch hunter Grandmama and her Grandson the most. Very appropriate timing for Mother's Day, I think.

Your witch looks too nice to be the witches that Dahl writes about. She looks more like Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle. But great illustration!
