Description This happened when I was playing this game after some time.

Two Armored Lorry units invaded a sector recently taken over by the Martians (as evidenced by the construction of a Communications Center as seen here), with the Martians only having a single Scout Machine unit to defend it. The first Armored Lorry unit was easily taken out by the Scout Machines due to being attacked while on a bridge, resulting in only minimal damage to one Scout Machine, but when the second unit passed the same bridge, this happened. Four out of the five Armored Lorries of the unit were taken out, but the fifth made the crossing and fired a single shot, only to stop in its tracks, doing nothing, but even the Scout Machines stood still! For a few seconds, it appeared they were actually THINKING of what to do next as neither side moved. Eventually, that last Armored Lorry did move and the Scout Machine did take it out with ease, but to have such a questionable standoff...

Pff, Not sure what the Martians were hanging around doing nothing for. That single Human unit has every right to sit there not knowing what the hell it should do. xD If it shoots, it's dead. It moves, it's dead. It as much as looks in the direction of the Martians, it's dead! 

Guess the Martians were just toying with the Human crew, giving them the delusion that maybe, just maybe they stand a chance of pulling something off or surviving. Nope. DEAD.

Agreed, or when they keep spinning around when moving due to being locked between several houses, when they could use their weapons to simply blast their way through.

But the problem is that they decided to make the Heat Ray pathetic on buildings...

Well, I've heard that they did this for balancing purposes, which is why the range of the Heat-Rays are also limited, although there are research options to extend the range and boost the damage...
