Description
Both Link and Zelda carried the orb on a smaller platform, which then began to move away once the orb was put onto it, taking it towards the entrance of the cavern area.“Such devices surprise me every time.” Link said, remembering how he came across moving platforms and traps while venturing in some of the temples he went in before.
“The only thing that’s left for us to do here is to get back to the main room safely.” Zelda said.
“Indeed, but I doubt it’ll be easy, since getting that orb seemed as if it was meant for us to get it like this so quickly.” Link said.
“I see your point, so we should be ready for anything… and why is your shadow growing… or better yet, why is it merging with mine?” Zelda asked.
Link and Zelda both looked down, seeing that their separate shadows had indeed become one and was growing… just as their eyes went wide and looked up quickly… the sound of a young boy and young girl screaming in utter terror in unison quickly resonated throughout the area as the one enemy feared most by any unsuspecting traveler has struck successfully, taking the both of them up into the air… the Wallmaster.

The Prison Crystal-
This forbidded tool normally appear as a tiny colorless crystal jewel that only a small number of them can fit in the palm of your hand and look pretty harmless.
But when infused with any kind of powerful magic and the right target picked, regardless of the original crystal's shape, these crystals can be made to serve as the ultimate imprisonment barrier that always takes the form of a man-sized prism-shaped crystal prison that's color depends on the gender of the occupant(s [with a maximum occupancy number of TWO]) contained inside it. static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub… as we have seen before! (Bluish-cyan = Males, Rose Pink = Females, Aqua Green = Dualgender.)
These are meant to be made to perserve the prisoner with no limit or means of the laws of life and death, for time and space hold no meaning as they give the prisoner complete suspended animation or free movement by will of the captor. And they can also be used to prevent all means for escape for the prisoner and forced release from the captor or a third party.
The only known means of freeing the one inside the Prison Crystal are;
1; Divine/Godly (Holy or Fell) power (which is nigh impossible to find in the mortal plane.)
2; The death of the Captor (in Ganondorf's case in Ocarina of Time, he died trying to make the tower collapse, thus Zelda was freed, but the Triforce of Power revived him for the final battle.)
and 3; Destruction of the Source Crystal by the hands of the Captor or a third party.
And what I want to know is why the **** it's saying Ganondorf traps the entire group in one ****ing Prison Crystal when something like THAT could put you through SO MUCH TROUBLE TO MAKE SOMETHING ILLOGICALLY IMPOSSIBLE when he could have just brought 8 crystals for each!

You have to understand that Ganondorf HAS the Triforce of Power, something that he has been using to grow even stronger over time and perhaps even use it to enhance his own spells. I believe simply that Ganondorf isn't stupid as he has actually been planning his coup all along when you think about it; if it wasn't for Zelda and Link whom intervened, Ganondorf would have his successful coup, killed the King, took over Hyrule and plunge the land in darkness, like he did when Link first became Adult Link in the game Ocarina of Time itself. Perhaps his collaboration with Majora in this story gave him some extra power in that regard as well, due to Majora's already insane yet out-of-control power. How else would one be able to pull a frigging moon out of its orbit and make it land on an innocent town within the course of three days (with the fourth day being the apocalypse)?
As for how it could break, I believe that the Fierce Deity's Mask contains some form of divine power by itself; as quoted by Anju in the Majora's Mask Manga, Link was like a ferocious god when he transformed in that form there. Couple that with the mask being purified by the Three Goddesses themselves...

On the subject of the moon, in the Majora's Mask manga, as said by Fierce Deity Link, the moon isn't really the real moon but a moon made from Majora's magic in it's image.
