Description
This beautiful piece was commissioned by me recently from the ever-talented J8d . It is of Cadet Naomi from the Air Lolis, and 2nd Lieutenant Sara of the Land Lolis, facing off against each other in a friendly Kusuguru match. Kusuguru is a martial art that has as it's basis the task of trying to tickle your opponent into submission. Naomi and Sara are both very skilled at Kusuguru, although Naomi does have a height advantage. ^^

Some of the rules for official Kusuguru matches are as follows:

Number of combatants: 2
Arena size: Circuluar, 10m across
Rounds: 5 rounds, each lasting 6 minutes. There is a 1-minute break between rounds. After all, you wouldn't want them to be able to calm down too much between tickles! ^^
The winner is the first to win 3 rounds. A round is won when one combatant is unable to continue. If both combatants are still going at the end of the time, the winner of the round is determined by points.

Points scored for landing successful tickles are:
Lower leg = 1
Upper leg = 2
Back of knee = 4
Arm = 2
Neck = 3
Midriff/stomach/sides = 5
Underarms = 7
Top of foot = 3
Sole of foot = 7
(Points are weighted according to the size of the body area and the typical level of ticklishness in that area).
Any tickle up to 5secs long earns these points. Longer tickles earn +1 point for every additional 5 seconds.
The format of combat is tickling. So anything that tickles is a legal move. Violence is strictly prohibited, and will result in instant disqualification and possibly being banned from the next forces-wide competition. Violence includes kicking, hitting, slapping, hair-pulling, biting. Accidents caused by ticklish flailing are excepted, naturally.
Also legal are any moves meant to cause distraction of the opponent. Some common methods of distraction are licking, massage, or kissing. (French kissing is particularly common!) Such distractions should be used with caution though, as the one doing the distracting frequently becomes distracted from the match too!
Both combatants start the match in their summer/activity uniform, perfect for Kusuguru combat with much bare skin available to tickle.
Any items of clothing lost may not be recovered.

Points are deducted in-match for lost items of clothing:
Cap = -2 point
Sandal = -4 points each
Top = -7 points
Miniskirt = -10 points
Knickers = -15 points
In this particular match, Sara forfeited her sandals at the start of the match for no penalty, as the backless sandals tend to come loose and trip her up in combat. She won the first round on points, but with suffering a very effective underarm tickle from Naomi's feathery broadsword, it seems she's about to lose her weapon....I wonder how much longer Sara can hold on to her feathery rapier against that devastating tickle attack?
