We were racing with the setting sun that day. I still managed to get some images that I am happy with.To this day, Malady remains my favorite model.

This is a beautiful image. Her pose reminds me of the White Rock Fairy (Psyche), who has been their logo in various states of undress since 1892.

Funny story, that. we arrived later than anticipated and had to hike around the lake to avoid the picnickers and fishermen. I was loading my camera and turned around to find her standing there stark naked...and without her glasses. I pointed out that I should make sure the coast was clear first. Instead, she ran out on the log and stood on tiptoe, scanning the far shore for people. She declared that we were alone and asked me for direction. We started shooting, while the folks on the other shore scattered for home. Most of them anyway. A small group of fishermen waved at her and stayed and enjoyed the show until dark. Being near-sighted, she was oblivious to the whole thing.

She looks so natural in a natural setting it is hard to believe that you were rushed. It looks like you could have had all the time in the world to get such a difficult shot. Great work!

That's a man-made lake in Southern Indiana. Why the CCC decided to build it on top of a small mountain remains a mystery. The model was so near sighted, she couldn't see the families fishing across the lake. So she just stripped down and wandered about.
