So, you know that My Daily Feature thing on my front page? Did you notice that one new deviation is added every day? 
Why?
I decided to do this because I wanted to do something similar to what a CV does with Daily Deviations. One thing that deviants who aspire to be CVs are told is that "we don't need the power to set Daily Deviations to do what CVs do" - DDs being what CVs are best known for. So I'm basically just proving their point. I still want to be a CV but I don't need to wait to get a 
Let me share MY criteria!
First, the artist may not have had a Daily Deviation before. This feature is sort of like my own personal choice of DDs, and I like it if talented artists who don't have any DDs are featured. I will also avoid featuring the same artist twice. But that also means that if the artist is featured, I'll add whichever artwork of theirs was featured to my featured folder .
Second, I'm not limiting myself to one gallery, like CVs are. That being said, I'll probably only feature deviations that I am confident are high quality or could become DDs if suggested. My expertise is in Fan Art, Digital Art (drawing), Traditional Art (also drawing), and cartoons (not comics). I am going to feature a variety of different styles, techniques, etc so you will see a lot of different things.
Third, and final, I am allowed to break some of my own rules. One of which is that I might feature something similar or show favoritism on occasion - I'm not a CV so I am not bound by these rules. You'll see an example of that below. I decided to feature two Undertale pieces because my birthday was this week.
With that said, let's get started. Below will be each piece in order with their name, the artist, date it was featured, and a description of why I featured it.
[YCH#12. Night flight | elleap | January 20th]
I wanted my first piece to be Undertale because it is still my favorite fandom. This piece, in particular, is by an artist I've been watching for a while. The semi-realistic look, the shimmer of the lighting, the beautiful designs, and the layout and simple background sets this piece up just right. It's truly magical and I absolutely adore how impressive this artist's work is.
[Garbage | Lordfell | January 21st]
Between the story and the style, my heart aches for this poor creature. Making your viewers feel something is just as important in getting your point across. In fact, I'd say it's the most important factor since art is the expression of our desires made physical. The subtle ways the artist indicates this poor baby's struggle - especially the ribs being visible - and the use of gray and other dulled colors is telling. I love the added effect to the water to show vitality. It's the brightest part of the image. It works!
[Galarian Ponyta | Teatime-Rabbit | January 22nd]
I am not a fan of pink. However, even I cannot deny that this is a gorgeous illustration of the Galarian rendition of the generation one Pokemon. This artist has a very unique way of painting. It is like a storybook fantasy; the soft watercolor strokes, fuzzy edges, and cute sparkles here and there. The lighting and background help complete an already blissful scene.
[Fysaera Halloween Adopt - Ghastly Ice {closed} | sofykoh | January 23rd]
This artist has many incredible designs so I had a hard time picking just one. I chose this because I loved the colors so much and I appreciate the intricacies of her headpiece, staff, tail, shoes, and really everything else. There is nothing I don't like about this. It's a beautiful design.
[Are you okay, dear wolf? | Ragous | January 24th]
I don't know the story behind this. But I don't need to know it to appreciate this piece. This artist's unique and cartoonish style, the simple use of expression and body language, and other key pieces like the arrows, apple, and the lighting used all tell a tale. I didn't need to see the title to know what was going on. That's the sign of a truly gifted artist.
[UT - A Bad Time Will Start | Amanddica | January 25th]
I could have chosen a piece that had more. However, the reason I chose this was because of how simply incredible it is. The artist has a unique style - yes, I call this unique because even though it's similar to others, they have managed to make it their own in many subtle ways like expression and anatomy - and used an iconic pose Undertale fans can appreciate. Add that dangerous yet slightly sassy expression and the shaded look and you've got a recipe for "YES!"
[Cosmic Archangel | Gallardose | January 26th]
I love dramatic poses and great art skills. I love space and fantasy. I love cool colors like blue and green. This illustration single-handedly incorporates all these things I love in one glorified piece that sends chills down my spine.
