Hooray and thank you, Ruaniamh, for these truly excellent renditions of my characters! I don't make a lot of OCs, so I'm rather picky about how they are portrayed, and these are just beautiful.
The Egyptian-themed pony is called Peony (she lost her true name to an enigmatic entity) and is a necromancer who provides 'boutique servants' to Canterlot clientele. She's rather cheerful despite her talent and profession.
The batpony isn't yet named or gendered, but I love their wonderful fluffiness, which was also the artist's idea. Zie's certainly not in the Night Guard, but may be employed in their care and keeping. Still working on back story!

The show might indulge in Egyptian-themed ponies; they have Saddle Arabians, after all. It's unlikely they'd have a necromancer pony, though, unless she was a villain (or at least seemed like one).
But until then, I'll just have to keep putting the romance in necromancy!

I do, as well! Ruaniamh's interpretation of my desires for her is truly excellent; the peytral and foreleg band were the artist's idea and really made me happy. I vacillated about the snake decorations but in the end decided to keep them.
