My first thought was actually Elecman, in the original Rockman. He is the most popular of the Light-bots.
Pikachu is the mascot of the entire franchise-[even though I prefer Raichu]- he is the first thing we relate electricity to.Β I've yet to see a lightning user not being in the top 5 of popular characters in a series.
To come back to Dyna, her real personality is definitely sweet. But between the color palette, the elemental power and her awesome voice and lines, there are only things to like.
She is the poster girl of that game.

I'd rather call it a "first game". It had its downs as well as its ups, but it was made with something many companies have forgotten by now. Dedication and risk.
The first game is not always the best, but you learn from the mistakes you make on it.
The sad thing here is that Capcom coulnd't even give us something like this. The so many good ideas in that game weren't used at the time they had to be. Maybe it was made too late, when fans expectations were too high? (We kinda wished it would be the equal of Megaman. It's like asking a toddler to match the brilliance of a grown-up) Maybe it was made too early? In that case there is room for improvement- and that's a good thing!
Mighty n#9 real test will come in its sequel, not before.

Consider that Inafune stole thousand of millons of dolars, made pure shit....and he is not even the real creator of Megaman if you have not noticed....

I don't know how the funding were used, but seeing the final product with my little
experience with game development tells me it wasn't a half-backed work.
If we go to the genesis of it, Megaman is a clone of Astroboy. (and not the only one)
It was supposed to be a game of Tetsuwan Atom, but things happened on the way.
Most of the Megaman series took direct references from Tezuka's work.
More, My feeling is that Mighty n#9 is closer to Astroboy than Megaman in term of story,
artwork and character/environmental set-up.
The Megaman - Mighty #9 situation is a lot like Astroboy - Jetter Mars.
It is a different story using similar concepts with the same people who worked on past projects.

the body design is very odd, considering her legs end in points.Β it throws my eyes off a bit. though i've seen things like this in a few cartoons. just not used to these types of looks myself.

oh i wouldn't stop them completely, the ponies. just draw them when you feel the muse rather then every pic. do notice how i jump between things? best way that way.

yeah. if you've noticed i haven't drawn or worked on ophelia's story for a little while. but i do come back to her when i feel the urge. don't leave your characters, just work on em when you feel you can do them justice rather then force yourself i say.
heh. yeah, it is very unique. kinda makes me think in a way of scott pilgrim.Β seems like it could be a fun game.

Woah, awesome! I really like the character design of mighty No. 9. I can't wait to see the full level design this game will have. Though, I'm going to have to practice playing the old Mega Man games if this ones going to be as difficult (I hope it is)
