I really should be working on art for other folks, but I needed a break to draw one of my own characters for a change. I realized I don't have a proper drawing of Tobin, so here he is.Tobin grew up in an aristocratic family in the rich area of Trottingham. His life was rather sheltered, and his parents very strict. They did not want him to even so much as speak to the lower classes. This strict upbringing is the reason he found Alan's rule-free life fascinating.
He's Alan's only friend, even though the two are pretty much polar opposites. Tobin is not very strong physically, is not good at using magic and unlike Alan's reckless personality, he is quite the coward. He is quite intelligent, however. The two of them are pretty much inseparable. One thing Alan does not know is that he harbours feelings for her. She, unfortunately, is not interested in relationships.
Okay, Imma go work the stuff I owe you folks now.

thats it! ~ahem~ would you be terribly offended if I mad an attempt to wright a bit of a story about Tobin and Alan? at the best, it would be scenario's, not an actual story but...

Hee, I actually had a comic planned for these two. Have most of the story planned out in my head and whatnot, but I dropped the project unfortunately due to me being super lazy X3 (and the possibility of not really having any readers)
Been toying around with just doing single pictures, then writing the story in short parts though.. I may get around to it, who knows.
I wouldn't be offended at all, in fact I think it could be quite wonderful!

Awww...!!! I love him!!!! He's a lot like my character Fennel! [link] <---he comes from a rich family and ended up sheltering himself because he still didn't have his cutie mark when he was fully grown. So he's really shy and socially awkward but very sweet.

I've never been noble either, in fact I'm quite the opposite. Tobin doesn't really like it though, he just wants to live his life how he wants to, not how others expect him to live it.

Hehe, thanks :3 I've been meaning to get around to drawing a decent picture of him for the longest time x_x Redesigned him slightly too (mainly just his tail and CM). Still not sure on his cutie mark yet, I've changed it so many times from a golden compass (when I was planning on doing the last of the curious thieves comic), to gears (thought perhaps he could be an inventor of sorts, but there are way too many ponies like that), to the scroll he has now X3 With the scroll, I'm thinking he could work for the esteemed Trottingham museum as a historian.

Yeah XD I have such a long to do list it's crazy. Between art trades, tumblr questions and personal projects X3 Been drawing so much art for others lately though, I needed to take a breather for myself.

of course I like him! you're OCs are great because you know how to work colours well and you don't "overpack" their designs
lol yeah i need to do that with Princess Nova. so far I have all these sketches of her in my sketch book, but only one deviation and a journal feature here on dA
honestly its the best thing you can do. art is meant to be fun (at least for me it is) and i personally can't work on commissions/requests if something else is pulling me in and out of the zone (such as the mass amount of school work I have this week
