How do you buy?

Each design is being sold via separate auction in the below corresponding comments. Please respond to the latest bidder. Auctions end 48 hours after their first bid. If there are no bids within 7 days, the design will be removed and withheld for later use on my equine fantasy RPG. Do not pay until requested. Some designs may be up for negotiation if you would like to privately note me about alternative compensation.

What all do you get?

A stand-alone image of your adoptable, featuring the horse on a basic background and floor, sized 3,500 pixels wide and 2,000 pixels tall. I can add colors and textures/patterns/designs to the backdrop if you ask beforehand, otherwise they're simply grey, and/or I can make it transparent. I will also provide you with the .PSD file if you ask for it, which can especially aid commissioners in recreating complex designs, so feel free to distribute to them as necessary. I will warn you, however, that my layers are not remotely organized or named.

All rights to the design: use however you wish, wherever you wish, so long as you do not claim credit and link back to me whenever appropriate. Furthermore, you can make any and all changes that you desire. You buy this, it's yours. Lastly, if you want me to make any revisions for you, we can discuss a reasonable fee depending on what you want.

A 15% discount on all commissions from me of this design.

As with the picture, you can make any changes you want and should consider these my suggestions, inspirations, and tips more than anything; you are also free to use the writing in your descriptions with credit. If you want further detail, such as a very specific form for every body part or such, I'm happy to oblige.

1. Witch Doctor [bought and paid for by LovellaTorendo ]

Description: The so-called "Witch Doctor" is a dark purple mare with an appaloosa splotching of dull white along her back and front knees, with an inverse design on her hindquarters of circular runes shown only by the lack of color, and a harsh, skull-symbolic ivory face. Her eyes are carved out but still she sees, rumored through dark magic, perhaps guided by spirits or demons in whispers those of innocence cannot hear. Cloven hooves of the same deep plum are in contrast to the bleached back right hoof. Knots of deep purple dreadlocks tumble down her neck and rump, clotted with grey feathers, ancient bones, and lavender strings of glistening beads. A satchel is slung over her withers, gossipped to contain potions, alchemical ingredients, even the scant remains of her foes after her wicked voodoo has stripped them of their flesh. A small, curved bone pierces her nostrils in primitive style and an animal's jawbone lines her cheekbone. Tiny, curved flecks reminiscent of claws embellish her muzzle and shoulders, perhaps marking the number of souls she's stolen. Once in a rare while, strangers weave tale that she is a healer, a misunderstood shaman pure of heart, but their redemptive murmurs are drowned in the accusations of abomination and sin.

Recreating Tips: For dreadlocks, use a dark shade of the intended hair's color and make a few slightly wobbly lines with tapered ends. Using progressively lighter colors, make several layers of hair in a "U" shape; your brush should be tiny, only a few pixels wide, and tapered. I use full opacity and flow and make around 7 layers of hair, getting lighter and scanter with each round until, by the end, I'm close to white and placing only a few strands here and there. | For the eyes, start with a near-black shape around the eyeball. Inside of the circle, paint some actual black around the rim to create depth. Right outside the rim, paint a light color, usually white, as an outline and put it on soft light or overlay and lower to a reasonable opacity. Your desire is to create depth within and without the "hole," so it requires a bit of playing-with, but isn't a complicated process.

2. Crystal Warrior [bought and paid for by How-You-Remind-Me ]

Description: She wields a body of mottled pink and lavender, meant to resemble the dawn-lit sky, with enough shine to produce blinding reflections if gazed upon in direct sunlight. All lilac shies from the condensed blush of her hooves, forming rose coronets. Beautiful yet formidable protrusions of matching pink and purple crystal jut from her shoulder and adorn her countenance in a tiered mask allowing only her pale pink eyes to show. Ropes of long, heavy wine-hued hair drag behind her in a natural train, mirrored in her silky mane that curls lightly to the base of her neck. A figment of grace and ferocity alike, her faceted facade symbolizes the dual nature within and the death she can peddle when required.

3. Egyptian God [bought and paid for by Venari-Stock ]

Description: Godlike white eyes lacking any pupil or iris stare out with a perceptible glow wherever they look. His body imitates the sun, burnished gold edged in throws of red and orange, shifting in exact hue with every angle you view it from. The yellow begins to lighten the lower down his legs it wanders, his hooves luminescent and casting light wherever he deigns step. His mane is chopped in a military cut, the bulk maroon with undulating sparks in its tips. His tail begins like embers, glowing vivid amber at its roots and melting to burgundy until its length reaches the floor. The branches of his hair are strung with golden chains tipped by luminous pearls, further chain encircling his back right coronet and attaching his ear to his nostril in a lengthy piercing. On his front left thigh is a bone spur tied with chain, just below a large egyptian symbol, a repeated strand of which emblazons both his cheekbones and his hindquarters. Ra himself envies the blazing sun contained by thin mortality, the confidence in his smooth actions... the fire in his blood.

Description: His body murky in dark green, a flash of vivid verdancy streaks from his chest to his dock, a physical manifestation of the aurora borealis from which he's woven. The rare and treasured beauty of nature ripples on his pelt, he the bearer of blessing. The light escapes from his spine in a series of shining geysers, casting a holographic representation of the northern lights overhead in his inspiring presence. Specks of white dot his expanse, faint and unobtrusive, and a glinting green-yellow iris pierces the swamp-like tone of his hide.
