Description
These colors and markings were so enjoyable! He has a very unique palette, doesn't he? This is Titus for Drache-Lehre and he was a treat to work with. I'm developing a new way to paint hair on these minis compared to what I did 2-ish years ago, and I find it quicker and a more pleasant experience, so that's nifty! I picked the weirdass title because his toyhouse mentions him being grumpy xD I hate coming up with titles.ĀRelated content

Hehe yes, he is indeed a grump most of the time so it's a fitting tittle. xD
I am blown away by the amount of detail AND correctness when working with such a small canvas!Ā
I am happy you picked him since there isn't much art of him, especially without the drapery.Ā
And I can NOT thank you enough, really for getting the markings CORRECT! That you took the time to take note and put effort vs just slopping on whatever.
This brings happy tears to my face. Even with this being small you could of made it simpler and done less but you didn't, so thank you SO much!
Makes this all the more worth every penny and a real treat that I'll adore forever. ā„
Thank you for letting me commission ya.

Gotta love an opportunity for alliteration, too! ;DĀ
Thank you so much! I am so, so happy you feel he turned out accurately. I try very hard to match every marking to perfection, I put a lot of effort into that, so I'm freakin stoked that you noticed and appreciated it! Not everyone does. I try to line things up based on milestone anatomy, like proximity to the knees or the end of X marking to Y marking, etc. I kind of make a mental map of the prominent points to try and imagine the relation/proportion.Ā It's really hard to adapt large-scale to these little mini decals, obviously, just because of the sheer size difference, but even moreso because of the style differences. Drawings (flat shaded, cell shaded, etc.) tend to have a looot more open room on the horse's body than the shaded paintings do, regardless of size, so it is a lot more limited in terms of fitting stuff in haha. SO BASICALLY, thank you thank you thank you, and I am SO happy you like this! He was an absolute treasure to work on.

It is rare that I don't notice, even errors sometimes can be missed but usually that is only when its a small scale or I don't want to bother about it.
And I try to do the same with everything I do, so I get the importance it is to try to get a character as right and accurate as possible.
There are many artists still who don't put as much care and focus on that sadly, thus when one does, such as yourself, it really makes the art (and you)
all the more amazing. :3
Anddd you are most welcome! <3
