Evolution:
Parasymb evolves from Parasect starting at level 40 while holding a Humid Timber. It it the final form of Paras.

Dex entry:
The parasite mushroom grew even bigger, making the insect succumb to fatigue. Despite looking exhausted, the insect keeps a symbiotic relationship with the parasite: while the fungus receive nutrients from the insect's body, the insect is kept alive by the fungus by controlling its brain.

Inspiration:
Parasymb is inspired by endoparasitoid fungi, that replace the host tissue and can affect the behavior of its insect host (Bulbapedia).
