Thank you. Do they? I don't know my snake skins to heart, but I though redtails were considerably smaller than this? Or is that a common assumption?

oh, redtails can get pretty big, both mine are 6 ft+... i just usually thing of pythons as having a little more black... hard to tell unless you see the faces though...

Noo, waaaay too big to be mine, they're in a zoo, pretty sure they're pythons, probably about 9/10/11ft maybe more? I wouldn't want to be irrisponsible enough to get a large snake without knowing the species, though I would love to own one later in life!

they do make wonderful pets so long as you get them as babies, otherwise they can sometimes have weird temperaments...
