Chapter 2

Raymond and Jessica headed down the hall and turned through a set of double doors between the staff hallway into one of the main hallways.  Suddenly a voice came from behind them.  “You get it shut?” came another familiar voice and Raymond turned to look at Rebekah.

“Yeah, back halls are clear and closed up.” he stated with a smile as he stated with a shake of his head.  Rebekah was sitting on the edge of one of the desks, her legs dangling from the edge of the desk before she hopped off, the pistol sheath at her hip swinging against her thigh.  “Where'd you get that?” Raymond asked as he noticed the movement by her leg.

Rebekah looked down and nodded when she saw the sheath.  “Right outside, one of the police cruisers, also found a pistol that I gave to...”
