I'm sure with some finesse I might be able to edit an actual error message with this but I'd rather not mess with my OS till I'm more confident in my coding

No I don't mean edit the OS but just make a standalone app just to display that and then redirect someone's internet shortcut to it.

*chuckles* hrm...I was thinking of editing one of the OS's internet error screens...but that's work to ^_x. And I could probably code something to display that, even have functional buttons using flash... *falls asleep thinking about it*

Yeah it would be easy using flash but it wouldn't look real because it would open in flash player. You'd have to use something like c++ (beyond my current abilities)
