I feel the cool liquid run down my left wrist...my right hand holding the bladeI feel bathed in the pain within and only wish to let it out
But I can't, I open my eyes to stare at the tears rolling down my arm to stain my bed
I toss the knife back in the drawer I'd grabbed it from and sit alone in the darkness
the only companionship that of my thoughts, the only thoughts being that of pain
I wish I had a way to let it out, but who could I turn to?
I cast about my mind and realize that everyone I know has their own pains
their own problems
their own lives
so I sit here silently, bathing in my pain, wishing I could let it out

*shrugs* aside from having a co-worker now nothing exciting has happened in my life. Oh yeah I have a bike now so I ride to work (which now only takes 3 minutes instead of 8 walking) and around where I live for exercise.
