B・ジェニーEven though I didn't like 'B. Jenet' fighting style very much in the Garou game - plus the fact that Mai was not available to be chosen anymore - her design was provocative enough to lead me to make an artwork of her. It surprised me that references were really scarce (particularly the good ones). For the pose, I used an old American comic I found somewhere. As for the face, I tried to get some screen shots from the games which are usually very small. In addition, the games in which she has appeared, do no show her completely, only part of her when you win a match. The official artwork you find on the web is quite limited as I said before and the true is that they are not very good.
I used water colours, pastels and pencils. I hope to make a better job next time. See ya then!

You got the tomboy and sexy pirate too well. My only complain here is that you draw her too serious. It's not so much B. Jenet you know. Aside from that, like her much, even as serious as she is here now.

Ha! I just read your description of your B.Jenet illustration and how you had problems to find references for her. I am sure you will fucking love the kind of article i am working on since 3 days now about her. From big selfmade screenshots of her old 2d game appeareances to screenshots of all her KOF MI2 costumes (i played through the game multiple times to unlock her just for that damn article).
It will take me 1-2 more days but what i am working on at game art hq now should be a superb ressource for artists in the future. I ll reply you the link when its done!

I saw some references... and some designs show her like a young gal.... but others don't... kinda confusing... can't remember her profile in the official site... but who cares... ;.D
