to be fair, I felt that omniverse took one step backwards with ben personality wise, in the original series he was portrait as something that would happen to any kid that got something like the omnitrix, in alien force we see him grow up and in season 3 he gets cocky, but believe me, many heroes will be the same when they defeat their biggest threat, but will go back down to earth if neccesary, in omniverse I see ben trying to act as original series ben, which is a bad idea considering there is a kid ben in omniverse, and only certain time we see him be more mature, but then go back to act as if he was a kid.

I love the Omniverse series! What i most liked is that Ben and Rook are good best friends! So for my drawings and fanfics, during their road trip i made the two to have new friends like Steven Universe, Clarence, and the Bear brothers from the new CN show, We Bare Bears!

Honestly "The Purge" Ultimate Alien was his most heroic moment, the end of "War of the Worlds" and "Alone Together" Alien Force was his smartest moments, "Absolute Power" Ultimate Alien he showed us that Ben had a dark side much more dangerous than mutated Kevin. Ben was arrogant and presumptuous in the third season of Alien Force but in the end "the Final Battle" forgive him because he looked sorry for his nasty behavior, episodes like "Prisoner Number 775 is Missing "and" Catch a Falling Star "show Ben horrified and ashamed of humanity. Ben and Julie was a lovely couple who made our hero most human and emotional connected to the real world, unlike Kai Green and his zoophile Blitzwolfer obsession.
The Omniverse Ben does not have anything like that, it's just a moron who just wants to fight and drink smoothies. The only time that parody is felt as the real Ben Tennyson was when he was faced with Malware and episodes "And Then There Were None" and "And Then There Was Ben".
They have to accept it, Rook Blonko was the real hero Omniverse

I actually agree whit everything you said, except Rook being the hero of Omniverse, and not Ben. Because I would have fall aslept if it was the "Rook 10: Omniverse" show. Just look at Charles Zenith at the end of "The Most Dangerous Game Show". But wahteever... your totally right. Especially the fact with Omniverse Ben being only mature in the Malware parts and "And Then There Were None/Was Ben"-episodes. I thought I was the only one who noticed that.

I have to disagree there. Despite all the arrogance and near childish behavior he displays in Omniverse, Ben still comes through as a decent human being. He really CARES for the friends he makes, be they hard to deal with or otherwise.

Definitely. I particular disliked that Ben chanced his attitude in Ultimate Alien, but he's going way better in Omniverse, at least it has the same humor and 'soul' of the first Ben 10, plus more mature element from Alien Force. It's called balance u.u

Honestly, the Omiverse series is my fav. The original annoyed me most of the time, and the alien force was ok, but I didn't really see enough of it to get a decent opinion for it.
At least with the Omiverse series Ben's finally showing some signs of maturity on what a hero is suppose to represent and how their suppose to view themselves in spite of public opinion.

Sorry, but what "signs of maturity"? From beginning to end, Ben was just a dumb immature arrogant jerk. Rook was the real hero of Omniverse.

There are plenty of signs.
In the first episode, The More Things Change, Ben and Gwen have obviously grown much closer, to the point that their childhood insults are now more like terms of endearment.
In the episode, Ben Again, were Eon switched 11 year-old Ben and 16 year old Ben's mind, he was down right polite and respectful towards his cousin's younger self.
In the episode, Malefactor, when he was hypnotized by the Psycholeopteran he admitted that being a hero wasn't bout the frame and praise. The same thin was shown and enforced in episode Store 23 when he meets Ben 23.
In Tummy Trouble, even though he disagreed at first, he respected Rook's decision to fight with the Merks. (Or Perks, which ever one chose to defend the planet). He also showed this same consideration in Bros in Space when he did his best to show Rook's family and people the proper respect. Even if he did mess up a few times.
And there are plenty of others throughout the series. Now does that mean he's out gown his obnoxious personality? Of course not. Doesn't that mean he's no longer arrogant? Obviously not. And I don't think I even have to mention that time didn't quell that swelled head of his. However, there are subtle changes that comes with growing up. He has matured, he just doesn't show it often.

Could have sworn I commented on this...but oh, well. To be honest, I'm a girl who outright adores boy shows. Girl shows bore me. So when I first watched Ben 10, I was thrilled...until we really met Ben's character. I couldn't stand how arrogant he was and how awful he was to those around him, so I quit watching.
I watched a few eps of UA and AF when it was on in the mornings before school, but he really wasn't much better there either. I quit watching those, too.
Then, however, came Omniverse, and since it was new, I figured I'd give it a shot. My personal verdict?
It's GORGEOUS. The art style did take some getting used to, but after that, I FELL IN LOVE with the humor, the new characters, the plots, the new villains, and BEN. FREAKING BENJAMIN KIRBY TENNYSON. His personality is SO much better now than it ever was (though, granted, it does slip at times), at least from what I've witnessed, and I love him SO much. He's one of my favorite characters in anything ever now, and I'm SO glad MoA took this step! I'm so proud of their new writing direction, and I pray they keep this going! It's AMAZING!

What do you mean about Kevin becoming a random monster thing? Are you referring to his AF mutation or his UA transformation.
Also, Ben only became cocky in Season 3 of Alien Force, and I felt that he deserved the right to his cockiness since he did save the universe from the Highbreed and was still a badass (unlike Omniverse, where Ben is an incompetent moron that I can no longer sympathize with).

To be fair, Gwen and Kevin were annoyed by Ben's arrogance, which is more than I can say for Rook. Don't get me wrong, Rook is a good character, but he doesn't really call Ben out on his arrogance (with the sole exception being in Of Predators and Prey, which was Rook's best moment in my eyes and I will always use that speech whenever Ben begins to brag).

I never said anything the first time I saw this but I will now. I totally agree with you. I am a fan of Alien Force, especially the first two seasons before he got the ego problem. It's still there from time to time in OV but he does come down to Earth like the episode Store 23.Β
It's a good piece of art that shows your skill with the style changes. Bravo.
