You would think that Ben's Omnitrix would turn him into a look a like of Gwen or Lucky Girl by now. But Ben has not unlocked the transformation yet. It's another plot hole. Even Ben not having Gwen's powers is a plot hole.

That's because Gwen was never intended to be alien in the first place. Learning magic gave her a skill set to set her apart from Ben; he was the sci-fi/Alien Guy and she was the fantasy/Magician type. UAF started the trend that everything should be connected to aliens, even aspects of the show that weren't meant to have alien origins at all.Β
By making her part-alien it ended creating several plot holes actually since we don't see her father, uncle, brother and Ben with powers, suggesting that either there's no male Anodites at all or male hybrids don't have powers, which is even more strange since Anodites canonically have no DNA. And from what I've seen of the Anodites they seem a bit overpowered and the two main ones (Sunny and Verdona) proved to be rather unlikable as characters. Not to mention they tried to make Charmcaster an alien too with Ledgerdomain.

As much as I dislike Gwen's new appearance in Ben 10: Omniverse, I hate her Anodite form! They're trying to combine Gwen's Anodite form with her Lucky Girl persona, and they did a terrible job!

Perhaps that interesting imagery combine Anodite with Lucky girl,
But That will never be the best presentation...

Love it! 11 year old gwen looks the same nice! 16 year old gwen caught me by surprise cause i thought her design in the first episode was going to be like that for the majority of the series, but im digging it! As for Lucky Girl/Anodite Gwen mixed together after seeing her in action, i never mess with her! Also, the cat shirt is back!
