You know, lack of animation magic means that the show is not the same without Dwayne McDuffie, who passed away more than a year ago. I think if Cartoon Network announces the fifth series of the franchise, the design from Alien Force-Ultimate Alien would return because a lot of fans including me dislike the new design style.

Dwayne McDuffie wrote the first episode and provided ideas for the show, besides that he was a writer not an animator so that has absolutely nothing to do with animation or magic, eventhough the OV animation is not perfect and has several errors (not draw the back shell of Cannonbolt is a serious one) I think it is better than UAF, also when AF came out many fans also hated the designs.

I think in the fifth series of the franchise, Cartoon Network would bring back the classic style from B10AF/B10UA. When I saw the new look, I said what the hey. Why change Kevin from a grungier person to a goth and Ben having his height reduced alongside with his hair briefly changed.

Not just the design, but because of the heavy use of comedic elements in the series. That wasn't a good idea. Omniverse should have been darker and edgier after story editor Dwayne McDuffie's death, not the other way around.Β
I think the design was changed because the creators had to focus on working Ultimate Spider-Man.Β
If the creators worked on Omniverse, the show would have been different than the stupid one that is currently on the air.

I agree. I also don't like the comedic elements they're using in Ultimate Spider-Man. What's up with that?! And I don't like the fact the Spider-Man turns his head towards the viewer and "breaks fourth wall". That's supposed to be Deadpool's signature trait!

You mean "film rights" andΒ yes it should,Β but Fox still has the film rights, so it's unlikely now. When the final X-Men film comes out, I hope the rights get reverted back to Marvel (Disney), meaning that a future reboot could be produced by Disney. Also after The Amazing Spider-Man 4 comes out in 2018, I hope the film rights (currently owned by Sony) will finally revert back to Marvel.

1. Most fans praised the B10AF style as it was an improvement to the franchise.
2. Wyatt - good at Scooby Doo! Mystery Incorporated, Teen Titans and Transformers Animated, bad at becoming Dwayne McDuffie's successor as one of the producers of the series.
3. The fifth series would have the style from Alien Force/Ultimate Alien.
Don't criticise my comments, please.
Here's my possible idea for the fifth series:
1. It takes place three years after the fourth series.
2. Kevin has shorter hair.
3. Charmcaster redeems herself and joins Team Tennyson.
4. Ben breaks up with Julie during the time skip and falls in love with Eunice.
5. Azmuth dies during the time skip.
6. Gwen becomes Lucky Girl on a full time basis.
7. Albedo becomes the main antagonist of the series.

1. in my personal opinion the UAF designs were a step back, the OV style are totally different designs trying to capture the essence of the characters and elements of past designs but do not try to look like them, while UAF style is a different style that tries to look like the previous series but is so different that creates a contrast that makes it look bad and does not capture the essence of the characters, the original style had more influences from comics and anime and it was the best.
2. Wyatt is not the successor of McDuffie he only is the art director plus most of writers and producers are the same.
3. if the UAF style were good they would no have need to change it.

I'm sorry if I seem rude but I was not criticizing your comments I was just giving my opinion as well as you give yours.
I just don't find sense in your arguments, like saying that Wyatt is the successor of McDuffie, both had different jobs one was a writer and the other is a designer, how is it possible for one to be the successor to the other?, if Wyatt is the successor of someone that would be the art director of UAF.
I understand that you don't care about that and that you don't like the designs of OV, and that's fine nobody said that you had to like it.
