Taken at the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center in West Yellowstone, Montana.One of the guides told us that these two were the Alpha male and female of the pack. The Alpha male is the light colored one, Kootenai, and the female is the dark one, Akela. The two were so cute; they really seemed to act like a couple!

My sister's getting married, and I want to do a picture kinda like this for her and her fiance. Would you mind if I used them as reference? It won't be EXACTLY the same, but she reminds me of my sister by how tough she looks.

doesn't it look likr the alpha female should be the light furred one and the darker one should be the male? I mean it just seems weird but okay I like this

This is a beautiful shot! Wolves are my favorite animal and these two definitely looked like a couple to me too.

And as you can probably guess, I love wolves too. I just think they're fascinating, especially the way the pack hiearchy works.
