Description
Ah! It was high time I got that old ref updated considering how drastically my sona' has changed in design and style! As much as I'd like to erase the old one to avoid confusion (and avoid having to look at it) I'm still keeping it here, but thankfully now I can shove this huge ref into the face of anyone who ever wants to know what he looks like!So without further adieu, here's more information on Ruby than you've ever wanted to know based on the four sections of interest on the ref sheet!
Expressions- I think this is pretty self explanatory, but Ruby is not stranger to emotions.
Radiators- You may have noticed the radiators that sit smugly atop each of his shoulders, so I suppose it's time I told you about what they do! Being a warm blooded mammal is one thing, but when your blood is circulated by a 270cc engine, it tends to put a more literal phrase on "bringing one's blood to a boil!" To combat the high temperatures of blood acting as coolant, two radiators transfer heat from incoming blood and diffuse it into the surrounding air to keep his temperature at a healthy 98.6(F) so as not to damage those bits that aren't metal. They can be retracted for convenience at any time, but they automatically deploy in stressful situations to keep the heat off.
Parts and Accessories- Just because you've got to use a few extra parts to get along doesn't mean you can't have a little variety! What goes in must come out, so Ruby is most often seen with an exhaust pipe on his back that pipes all exhaust up and out along his back. It's usually removed for sleeping, showering, dressing, and the likes, but otherwise the pipes stay on. An exhaust pipe on your back can get a little cumbersome and clunky when you would prefer it not be, so HB industries has provided him with an alternative exhaust pipe that promises not to sacrifice performance with its slimmer design; it came with a warning, however, that it had no heat shield and it be handled with caution accordingly.
Guts n' Stuff- So then what makes Ruby tick? The answer lies with a 270cc, One cylinder engine that tops 15hp @4800RPM and 17.7lb-ft @4000RPM. This peppy little engine substitutes as his respiratory systems, circulatory systems, and metabolism all in one package! Such a system, however, requires a certain fuel, one provided by a modified liver that not only filters blood but also filters and synthesizes fuel from ingested food (which is acquired from the modified stomach). Most other organs you'd expect to find in an otherwise normal person are crammed in his abdominal cavity with the rest of his metal guts!
On a final note, there is much more I'd like to show you, but I didn't want the ref to be too big or cluttered, so I'll be adding ref sheet "add-on's" in the future to expand on stuff that I want to have included here but can't fit!

Oho, thanks a million man! There are still a couple of things that I wish I would've touched up, but I'm pretty happy with how it came out!

Thank you thank you! Quite frankly they're the only designs I seem to be able to draw well enough any time I want to draw myself! I've the darndest time drawing people, and for some reason I've never been able to make a robo-sona.
