I love Ayla! First thing I noticed was that she was REALLY pretty for her time era and the second thing was that, when I looked at her profile, for a girl who only uses "Fist" for a weapon, SHE IS SO FREAKING STRONG!!!
Anyways, very nice picture. Crono Trigger rocks and...er...yeah... Awesome.

Very nice rendition of the classic art of Ayla.
I agree though that she was way too gorgeous given the era in which she lived. The perfect (honey blond at that) hair, the perfect smooth hairless skin, the fur bikini etc. Everything about her screams game's babe. She's sort of a female Conan.
It's the same way Lucca is the game's teen genius/inventor, Marle is the princess and Chrono is the spiky haired teen chosen one.
Still though, back then I was never really into girls the way way other guys my age were. But when I really got into Ayla, even my reaction to her somewhere along the lines of "whoa!".
The game (while a lot of fun) isn't exactly the epitome of realism.
Looking back at the game, I could go on and on about the lack of realism in it. However, as they say, it's a game, not a simulation.
A lot of the cliches common in games of today -- well, they didn't exactly start with Chrono Trigger but that's a game where one can see a lot of them. You could counter arguments about games of today by showing how even the so called old school games used a lot of those same cliches. I think it's one of those things where one simply notices it more as they get older.
Well, anyway though, excellent pic. Puts a smile on my face and reminds me of one of the happier memories of those years. I think that's what matters in the end.
