Fanart for the musical Spring Awakening. Moritz (left) and Melchior (right) surprisingly aren’t gay. The just have a randomly kinda slashy moment in the middle of the first act. It’s good song (“Touch Me”
just a little creepy. And besides, Melchior goes off to deflower Wendla. Though, not before beating her with a stick…but only because she asked him to.Moritz and Melchior are ©…someone that isn’t me.

Yeah, the two of them have such homosexual overtones. But I think Moritz is into Melchie because he represents sexual enlightenment. I think that they're both straight.

Oh, they are both (mostly) straight, and it does make sense that Melchior = enlightenment. They are fun to slash, however, and even if we couldn't, we'd still have Ernst and Hanschen.

Thank you! As for the original play, it opened in a time where the concept of young people having a sexuality was surpressed, hence the play was written at all.

I love it too! Did you see the performance of Touch Me that they did on The View? The whole time, Melchior has this look of complete lust for Moritz on his face. Or it could have been “yay we’re on tv!” but I read it as lust O_o

Yes I saw them on The View. Melchoir did have that look on his face, but it could be because they were on T.V. or because in that scene he always has that kind of look on his face, but I'm not really sure.

It's a bonus trake on the album (I got it off iTunes). It was originally in the play where "Guilty Ones" is. It has NOTHING to do with the plot and is just an odd, depressing song in general.
