Description Andromeda is also from my novel, Droid Song. The poem besides her I put before a part in the novel, and it says:

A poor deceit and copy, this,
Of larger lives that mark their span,
Unreckoning of wider worlds
Or gifts that Heaven keeps for man.

She gathers piteous bits and shreds
This solitary, mateless thing
To patient build again the nest
So rudely scattered spring by spring;

And sings her brief, unlistened songs,
Her dreams of bird life wild and free,
Yet never beats her prison bars
At sound of song from bush or tree.

It`s from a poem called The Caged Bird by Sarah Orne Jewett. Andromeda is one of my favourite characters I have ever made. She is...very complex. She`s one of the most complex people in my novel. Her mother was a human and her father was an elf, and she has wings, and no one knows why. They`re more metaphorical than anything, really.

She's almost . . . elflike. Your drawing is fantastic
And that poem is beautiful.
The shading & colouring of her wings and dress = just . . . wow. Much love.

XD

Danke, love. That poem goes along with her so well it`s almost eerie--when I found it I was like, this is too good to be true.

Her father was an elf (mother human), so she`s supposed to be elflike, so that`s good!

D.S. art! <3
I love how you've done her wings, the colours are really pretty. And her jacket is just the SHIZ! *wants one*
