I bought my niece mermaids for christmas, and birthday (last month). I've probaly bought her over 100 different types of mermaids, she has a mermaid tail for swimming, I've watched that movie aquamarine about 50 times with her, I know most of the h2o just add water (Rikki's my fav) and mako mermaid episodes now ... Note me and ill tell you the most rediculous mermaid thing I did for my niece..

i don't know what it is about them... i think mermaids are just quite aesthetically pleasing for me
as a kid i wouldve KILLED to have a mermaid tail but i dont think they were around
omg i watched h2o but I don't remember much about it ;; i sometimes watch mako mermaids if my sister is watching it but it seems much more complex
of course you can send it to her! hopefully she'll think a dog mermaid is cool haha
