Riku/Sora, from KHII - Click for full view.Hi! Some people were offended by yaoi pictures in my gallery, so I figured it'd be polite to put a little warning on the thumbnail for them, even thought this is pretty light slash content.
I had a dream last night. The best I've ever dreamed
and when I woke I realized it was better than it seemed.

A little surreal, but it's like Namine had to scribble Sora out of their lives.
The picture is supposed to be kind of a half-dream of Riku's. In the process of restoring Sora's memories, everyone had to forget about him, even his friends. Although they couldn't remember him, their hearts could, and the feeling was like an emptiness in their chest...

Mmm.....absolty beautiful, soft colors. I love the bleeding effect and the forget-me-nots are great because they're sketchy and ght and almost not even there (which I think ands wonderfully to the dreamy feeling.) The only thing I might say contrary to this picture's greatness, is that the facial lines are very sketchy. Your colors are so gorgeous and smooth but the choppiness of the face kinda breaks up that smooth flow for me. The sketchiness works wonderfully in the hair but places like Riku's collar get choppy. (Sorry, I'm not trying to be mean. I'm just crazy when it comes to art. ^^' )

Well, if people don't like yaoi, fuck them. ^^ The best way to beat down injustice is to stand your ground. If dA removes it but keeps similar, hetero art... then raise all hell and turn it into an issue. Dissent and anger are the only things that ever compelled change- noone wants to do anything if they're happy and contented.
Especialy such a beautiful pic as this... it's wonderful.

I'm not too worried about dA, they've actually been pretty helpful in dealing with people who have left harassing comments on my Yaoi stuff. ^^ And their own etiquette policy states no harassment based on gender, sexuality, religion, etc. It's the site members that I worry about.
