Riku/Sora, from KHII - Click for full view.Hi! Some people were offended by yaoi pictures in my gallery, so I figured it'd be polite to put a little warning on the thumbnail for them, even thought this is pretty light slash content.
I had a dream last night. The best I've ever dreamed
and when I woke I realized it was better than it seemed.

A little surreal, but it's like Namine had to scribble Sora out of their lives.
The picture is supposed to be kind of a half-dream of Riku's. In the process of restoring Sora's memories, everyone had to forget about him, even his friends. Although they couldn't remember him, their hearts could, and the feeling was like an emptiness in their chest...

I like that.
I never thought of just how it would feel to slowly loose - and then slowly gain - memories of Sora.
Especially for Riku. All alone in the darkness, Sora's memory would have been one of the main things he was focusing on.. and he'd probably noticed that he'd started to forget... He must have been stricken when he realised he could no longer remember what Sora looked like, or sounded like.

Very nice. I love Riku's hair. I have such issues getting his hair color to look good. In fact, I'm struggling with it on my Riku/Sora animation right now. ^_~

For some reason, Sora's the one who always gives me problems when I'm trying to color his hair. Can't be too red, or too orange, or too yellow and dark.... argh! Riku's easy for me. @_@

Hehe, I have issues with Sora's too. That weird copper color. It involves way more yellow that I'm comfortable using. ^_~ And...ya know..backgrounds. There is a background in this animation that I'm trying to get to look at least semi-decent animated. Here's hoping...

OMG! Now THAT is just too hot. I love the way they're sorta just melting into the air. You also came up with an excellent background idea- simple, so it doesn't overpower the picture. I also like that you didn't draw their eyes in. It only adds to the simplicity. Very nicely done!
