Something a little more abstract, and weird coloring again! Possibly using this for KH Ultimania's new art contest, which states you must only use 2 colors.SPOILERS
SPOILERS
I'm still working out the Nobodies/Heartless logic. Technically, the name "Heartless" is decieving because they ARE the hearts of people who have fallen into darkness, right? Hence the little hearts being released when Sora the Shadow Slayer slices into them, and how he returned to himself after Kairi called him back from being one? (?)
And then, "Ansem" = Xehanort's heartless, and in a way IS Xehanort.... right? @__@ But was "Ansem" and Xemnas working together? Except Xemnas wasn't looking for his heart but for power, so even though they probably knew where each other were - Heartless and Nobody - they...uh... didn't want to return to their Xehanort-self. Then Ansem was defeated KHI, but returned somehow via stalking Riku's heart. (Or maybe Ansem's heart is IN Riku, like how Kairi's heart was stuck in Sora??)
That'd be... odd.
Have I lost anyone? T_T All these are just theories, fyi.
TK-friend replies: I think that the Ansem we see in KH II is just the embodiment of Riku's darkness given a physical form, and given that Xehanort's heart kind of resided in Riku when he gave himself over to darkness, to a degree it is his heart, but in the same way it isn't, because they defeat Xemnas and reclaim Riku therby forcing Xehanort's heart away

TK: Otherwise, Riku would've known to identify himself as Xehanort and not Ansem. Because, if it were Xehanort's heart, he would know that he is Xehanort.

P.S. I love Heartless. They're so cute and cuddly. I want a bajillion Heartless plushies! A friend sent me two that she made, and they were adorable!

My little insight on the colors: Instead of the blue tones, I'd try violet, methinking it wouldn't....'clash'. (So to speak...you did a wonderful job at making it non-clash, but still, pink and blue don't go that good together very often) A dark violet colour of sorts. That would give the sad, poor, Shadows a more shadowy-yet-angsty look to them, along with the pinky-ness to top it off. Aside from that, I <3 this and your work keeps me amazed. ^_^;

I've pretty much the same particle theory as yours, so no complaints there.
I have always had a weakness for the Shadow Heartless 'cause even though they're technically evil, they don't look like they could hurt a fly.

anyway yeah. All this stuff about Nobodies and Heartless and especially the logic behind Roxas and NaminΓ©'s creation confuzzles me a lot...
and like.. if there was a Heartless running around with a Nobody's heart, could you kill the Heartless and stuff the heart back in the Nobody and turn them back to normal? Do Nobodies "exist?" Cuz they're the "non-existant ones," and they have bodies... except their real bodies faded away..? Like, I read that the Nobody is the remaining body and soul when the heart leaves, so how is it that Roxas still had a body and Sora had his... own...... when Kairi... how..? I think too much

Yeah, hence why I put quotes on the name. I just refer to the Heartless as "Ansem" while the real one is Ansem-the-Wise.

I know, when i finally realized that the heartles were the ones with hearts, and that the nobodies were the ones without them I was very tripped out. I very much agree with all that, btw. And I love the little shodows, I've always thought they were positively adoreable, and then you go and give that one so much feeling, and it's just irresistable.

I simply adore this. It's just the whole lost look that main Heartless has, how all the others go along, but he (she?) stays behind in search for his (her?) heart. I also love the colours and the simplicity of it all. A very nice picture.

The Heartless can devour people's hearts, but they cannot have their own. They come into existance because they "devoured" someone's heart but they don't have the essence of one.
Xehanort's Heartless Ansem wasn't working with Xemnas, Xemnas was manipulating him--remember how in some of the "Ansem Reports" Ansem was theorizing how one could control one's Heartless if they became a Nobody (but you could only do that if you had an extremely strong heart)? That's what Xemnas was doing.

Yes! That's why there's the little heart animation thingy whenever you kill them. The bigger the "death heart" is, the more hearts they've consumed.

Though, that person's original heart, no matter which Heartless they are in, could theoretically return to "normal"? Like if Sora's heart had been eated by another Heartless, and not the Heartless that he had created/left over, the HEART is what would turn back into Sora, correct?

Yes, but Sora's heart only returned because it was so strong. A normal person's heart probably couldn't be able to that, which was why so much emphasis was placed on it in the game.

The thing about the 'Heartless' is that they do NOT have hearts.
They steal them. ;3
So then they have a temporary heart until it falls to darkness and becomes another heartless.
Sora turned back because he was saved by the light in Kairi's heart.

true, they ARE the hearts of the people who are taken into darkness, but they don't have their own heart
